Family run and independent, we became a Limited Company in 2005 We at Team Blindscape pride ourselves on being able to offer you everything a high street shop can offer with the benefit of doing it in your own home at a time to suit you. We have two mobile sale showrooms along with our main Showroom at 3 St Marks Crescent SL6 5DA Book an appointment for us to visit you and we will measure your windows for blinds, curtains, shutters or awnings and will offer you the time and advice you need to make an informed decision. We are able to work out the price for 99% of all quotations on our initial visit however there will be no pressure and no obligation to go ahead at any time. It is important to us that you make the right decision. Being independent we are able to pick and choose from a vast range of blind and curtain fabric manufacturers or we can manufacture from your own fabrics - so if you are looking for a one stop shop we can happily cater to all of your needs. As a Company we are big enough to cope whilst being small enough to care. Our emphasis is on delivering an excellent product at a fantastic price with a friendly professional service to match. That's why the majority of our work is by recommendation.

From the initial consultation to the fitting

From the initial consultation to the fitting of my blinds and awning the staff have been the absolute best. I am very much a perfectionist myself and expect other people to be the same although I very seldom find that they are. I have to say that the company has not let me down. The fitters came in and fitted everything with no fuss and no mess and it is all looking fabulous. I cannot praise them enough.

My wife found Blindscape on the…

My wife found Blindscape on the internet, while searching for "Awnings". We visited their premises in Maidenhead, and the receptionist was extremely helpful. The product looked good. The same day we viewed another awning supplier, in our area, and pricing was similar. We arranged for a visit by their salesman. He was very pleasant and knew the product inside out, very experienced. After paying a deposit, delivery & fitting was relatively quick, for both our awnings. The 2 installers, were very pleasant and again, very experienced. They also tidied up after installation, and then showed us how the remote worked. All in all, Blindscape could not be faulted, with regard to our experience with them.

New lounge curtains

We are extremely pleased with our new lounge curtains. From the initial measuring visit to the making and fitting of the curtains , all of which were very professional and the final product being of a very high standard. We most certainly would use “ Blindscape “ again.

Excellent

This is the third time we have used this company and they are always excellent.
Staff are knowledgeable, personable and easy to deal with.
Although pricey, definitely worth the extra cost. I highly recommend.

Professional and a pleasure to deal with

We were very pleased with Blindscape’s advice and fitting of blinds for our conservatory and roof lights. A shame we didn’t find them years sooner! It was a pleasure to deal with Blindscape, who are professional, helpful and friendly. We would not hesitate to use Blindscape again and to recommend them.

We've been using Blindscape for the past 10 years, and Dan and his team have consistently delivered outstanding service. Most recently, they fitted new blinds in our loft conversion, and once again, they were punctual, professional, and a pleasure to work with. The quality of their work is exceptional, and their attention to detail is second to none. First class service from start to finish we highly recommend Blindscape!

Installation visit on time (30 minutes early!). Seamless installation completed very quickly. New installation demonstrated. Old blind removed and disposed of.

Easy to order and very stylish blind

Easy to order, fitted when requested. The whole process of fitting a new kitchen blind was perfect. Love my new blind with a wooden bottom bar. So stylish! Thanks to Ben for being very professional today when fitting the blind. Will definitely use blindscape again.

Very professional and efficient…

Very professional and efficient service.
Provided a quote and timescale for some shutters and blind which they kept to and even did a repair on some existing Roman blinds for a nominal cost.
Shutters are fantastic.

Great experience with Blindscape and I will certainly use them again in the future. My kitchen windows are greatly enhanced by the roller blinds I have had fitted and the remote control is fabulous. Within 4 weeks of ordering, my blinds were fitted. Thanks to Andy and Steve

Amazing experience as always from start to finish. Thank you to Dan, Mark and the team. Measured for a new blind for the stable door on Monday and less than 48 hours later it had been made and installed 🤩 will always be my go to Company for all my window and door blinds and more.

We are delighted with all the Venetian…

We are delighted with all the Venetian blinds installed by Blindscape. From the initial consultation to the final fitting, the team was professional and efficient. They provided great advice on style and materials, ensuring we got the perfect look we were after.

The installation was quick, clean, and of the highest quality. Our blinds look fantastic and function beautifully. Highly recommended for anyone seeking excellent products and service.

Sadly - then tried another massive company instead and regret not sticking with Blindscape. Buy cheap, buy twice!

Excellent product and first rate Installation

It's not the choice of product but WHO supplies and instals that poses the problem. I decided against national franchised outfits and went for a local company. From enquiry to completion, Blindscape were the perfect choice. We ordered black plantation shutters and they really define the newly refurbished room and look stunning. Blindscape's attention to detail and high installation standards have completely met my expectations. All my pre-instal queries were answered promptly and the staff are a delight to deal with. Highly recommended!

Blindscape from Maidenhead came to…

Blindscape from Maidenhead came to install blinds in my conservatory and was well done. One of my uplighters’ glass was cracked during the install which I didn’t notice till days later. However, owners of Blindscape accepted the installer’s version of event that it was damaged prior to the install. Only I know the truth and the installer, named Daniel knows it too that the damage didn’t not just happen in thin air up the wall. The cost of replacement is minimal at 1.6% of the cost of blinds but integrity is what counts here! Obviously, Blindscape has none of that.

We are very happy to hear that you are pleased with our workmanship and product. It is sad to see that we have received a 1* review for this.

You reported that the light has some damage quite some time after the install was completed. Our installer advised us that he did not notice any damage to any lights before or during the install. Neither our installer or yourself noticed any damage when showing you the install once completed and demonstrating the use of the blinds.

We can appreciate how you have arrived at the assumption which points the finger at Blindscape but it must be considered that it can't be ruled out that any damage happened prior to us installing and it is merely coincidence that the damaged was noticed the week after the install.

We have not received any quotation from you for the cost of any repairs however as a gesture of goodwill and without any prejudice we will be happy to split the cost with you as a show of good faith.

We hope that you feel able to call upon us again should you need our services in the future.

Shocking customer service

The customer service of this company is shocking. They do not reply to e mails or calls. I have e mailed twice and left messages to call me back. They failed to order a set of shutters for my daughters flat. After 3 months I told her to call, we had no contact from them during that time. They then informed her they had missed the shutters on a order over £1752. Her voiles were ready but only told her that once she asked. I have personally spoken to them twice and all I get is so sorry we are dealing with it. Move forward another 4 weeks and we chased again to be told yes the shutters are here. These were fitted and my daughter is happy with the products. However, I still have not paid their final bill as I want a discount on all the time this has taken and the no contact issue. They put a £50 discount on but I refused and since then despite e mails and calls they have gone quiet. Blindscape if you see this please call me, read my e mails and deduct a reasonable amount not something under 3%. I will not be contacting you any further or paying your final invoice until you deal with this shocking issue. Potential customers please be aware, if anything goes wrong they are not the company for you.

I wish to correct you.

You have never contacted my daughter about any updates. I originally e mailed you on 16 May concerning the discount, so longer than 48 hours. You have never replied to that e mail. I telephoned a week ago and left a message and no has called me back. So your apologies are pointless.

We're saddened that you were not pleased with our attempts to rectify the original issue. When we discovered the error we made your daughters window coverings our priority. Thankfully her curtain track and hand sewn voiles were ready to be installed. Unfortunately the shutters were not so we express airfreighted them, at our expense, to expedite the situation as much as we could.
We kept your daughter abreast of all movements and updates by way of bi weekly phone calls. Again your daughters shutters were our priority the moment we had them delivered to us and we arranged fitting at your daughters earliest convenience.
We are very pleased that you daughter is happy with the shutters and voiles.
Regards to your email, we do try our best to respond to all emails within 48 hours however sometimes this isnt possible due to the nature and length of the email itself. We ask that you bear with us and we will respond as soon as possible.

Dear Mrs Rochford,

We don't contact customers during the delivery period for the shutters, this is due to there being no information from the supplier because the shutters are transported by sea freight. Therefore we would not be able to give any further information other than the delivery estimate that was given at the consultation.

As you are aware and we have explained the shutter order was missed due to human error. This meant that the system did not flag the order to be fitted which is why the voile curtains were not fitted at an earlier date. We did attempt to resolve this as best we could by air freighting the shutter to have it arrive in 4 weeks. We also fitted the voile curtains at Victoria's earliest convenience.

The original delivery estimate for shutters is 10 to 12 weeks, due to the missed order and air freight delivery we installed the shutter 16 weeks from the original order date.

After the issue was raised we did speak with Victoria on the 16/04 at 09:25, we had arranged for the voile installation to take place that day at 11:15. During this phone call we also agreed with Victoria that we would keep her updated as much as we could by calling her every 2 weeks. We did this with a phone call on 30/04 at 15:32 and again we called Victoria on the 15/05 at 16:15, the day the shutter arrived with us, where we agreed an installation date of the 16/05.

We do wholeheartedly apologise for the delay. We have apologised to you and Victoria for this and we endeavoured to resolve this delay for Victoria as best as was possible. We are also extremely happy that Victoria is very happy with the Voile curtain and the Shutter.

We have also made changes to our system to now notify us of orders that are available for part fitting where shutters are ordered with other products that are quicker to manufacture, deliver and install. Along with these improvements we have included further stop checks to ensure that orders are not missed.

We will offer some further discount totaling the discount to £100. We feel that this is fair and proportionate to the delay on the order.

We hope that this resolves any issues and is a satisfactory conclusion for you.
