We needed our drains replacing which meant digging up the patio & drive too. It was a big job that was done in such a way that 5 or 6 other problems were solved too. Nothing was too much trouble or too hard or too difficult & everything that needed fixing was explained & it was all done as quickly & as efficiently as possible. Would highly recommend & will definitely be getting a quote for the foundations for our extension next year.

MY PLAN - seek a contarctor to lower a protruding inspection manhole chamber within my front garden and create a block paved driveway.
THE REALITY - choosing the wrong contractor and being left in a complete shambles.
THE OUTCOME - Brooke at BL groundworks was ready and willing to take on the mess I'd be left with, he is SSIP registered so credited to do work for welsh water, he was not fazed by the work required on the inspection man hole chamber which showed his expertise. Brook explained everything that would be required to over come initial design idea's that were not feasible due to high entry points of the electric and gas pipes into my home. Brooke explained how he would be able to achieve a ramp effect and the costings behind the work's required.
Trust was instilled throughout, with great communication daily, on site when he said he would be, materials delivered when he said they would be and work completed within time frame.
THE LESSON - Go with a reputable company first time. The only SSIP registered company I could find in Cardiff, Highly recommend.

As an absentee landlord, I needed an old, decayed, poorly constructed ramp serving a high-deck industrial property near Newport to be smashed up and removed. Thereafter a new ramp to be built properly in its place.
Brooke was on the case promptly to quote, and always did exactly what he said he was going to do, when he said he was going to do it. He instilled a lot of trust by giving information about why the old ramp had failed, and advising details and a spec for the replacement.
Brooke kept me fully informed with daily photos, calls and texts as the job progressed. He finished the job on time - just as he said he would, and even said thank you when he was paid!
I wish all contractors were like Brooke.

BL groundworks did a fantastic job outside our house in difficult circumstances
The drive and road had to be dug up for a pipe to go through and you would never know afterwards that work had been carried out on it
Also the work was completed before time

Recently moved into a new home, i have two young children 2 and 4 for the first 4 months of living in our home i had to keep them away from the back garden it was so unsafe, uneven and all round disaster.

I called in Brooke to see if he had any ideas on how to salvage this garden so it was safe for my children to play and wasn't an eye sore. He smashed it...it is perfect. my garden is now level, safe and beautiful i cant wait for the summer to get back out there!
