It’s pretty terrible. It doesn’t keep heat, no more than few hours. Given the price, quite disappointing.. The design looks good until you start using it.. I bought five items all at once. I missed the return window. The ones still in boxes will be given away to charity..

I had a small problem with my lunch bowl which I wasn’t initially sure if it was even an issue. I got in contact using the phone number on their website, and they had returned the call to me after I left a voicemail.

Sandrine confirmed that what I was describing was an issue and that if I could get a video over to them, they’d ship a replacement free of charge. As I had previously ordered a replacement glass bowl on the website (but originally bought the lunch bowl on Amazon), my details were available to customer service and they effectively utilised them without me having to provide them all again.

Bearing in mind that I had purchased my lunch bowl some years ago, I had fully expected to pay for a replacement and instead was hoping to get confirmation on what I needed to do to fix it.

Black + Blum has cemented my confidence in them, and I will be a returning customer!

Nice idea, but never seen to have spare parts in stock, however do have complete items......also all products made in China

Fantastic well designed and manufactured products. After a period of use my steel flask top developed a slight leak. I contacted them and without hesitation, they replaced the whole unit. Brilliant friendly communication. Quick and efficient.

Wow wow wow! I’ve been using many of their items and I’m very pleased with all. The travel cup for coffee has been leakproof so far and easy to drink from using the locking mechanism. And it looks so gorgeous. The lunchbox has also been leakproof and it’s nice having separate compartments for sauce. And again looks so gorgeous. I’ve also been using the stainless steel water bottle and had no issues. Great designs and functionality for all items. Very pleased! And hoping to keep adding to already purchased items over the next few years.

Good square stainless steel lunch boxes, them being microwavable is a plus. My problem is that the thick plastic lids are prone to bending, warping, and being misshapen.

When this happens, the lids themselves are rendered useless as the vacuum seal is no longer possible - due to the asymmetry.

Traditional lids have the side clasps for sturdy closure. Black + Blum have tried to be fancy and do away with the clasps/locking mechanism altogether, but this additional security would be really useful as an insurance against the possible failure of the lid.

I've since looked on Temu - and similar products are being sold for less money. Whether the quality is comparable I don't know, but I suspect it must be quite close.

Overall, be skeptical of this. The lunchboxes are nice but their durability is questionable.

Great products!

This has changed my overall diet by making it practical (and fashionable) to take healthy food to work. Food tases better in glass containers and transportation is very convenient in vessels that don't leak.

I have gotten compliments at work for the various designs of these lunch containers and feel inspired to continue eating healthy food prepared at home.

The containers pay for themselves with regular use in a Tier-1 city where takeout food is prohibitively expensive. These products should be standard issue for people who like to prepare and enjoy healthy food!

Great products and even better customer service! My products were delivered in a very acceptable time. My problem was the delivery drivers fault as it was thrown over into my back garden, which has a clear sign to bring around to the front door. This caused my product to break inside the box. I phoned Black+Blum as soon as I found it. I spoke to a lovely lady Sandrine who apologised, not her or the company's fault, who immediately arranged a replacement, with a different delivery provider, and also gave me my discount that I had forgot to use when I first placed the order. She could not be any more accommodating or apologetic, again not her fault. The customer service was excellent. Thank you Sandrine. The products are fantastic and I will recommend this company to everyone I know.

We love our superb Black & Blum storage tins and use them every day. We put all of our plastic kitchen storage items into recycling and made the switch to stainless steel and glass.

We have now ordered more Black & Blum items and look forward to them becoming a valued part of our everyday lives. The courier wanted a surcharge to deliver to our house, so Black & Blum unilaterally found an alternative way to send out our order economically. Much kudos to B & B.

PS I recommend everyone to avoid putting food in contact with plastic. It will leach into your food and into your body. Sugar is the new tobacco. Plastic will in due course be shown to be harmful to humans.

Customer service is excellent, they really do care about you and how you feel about the products. I bought the charcoal sticks, the water carafe and the water bottle, I LOVE it all. It is such a simple water filtration system which is so economical and as I hate plastic it's great that I can put the charcoal into glass bottles. Finally I love the taste of the water, you know it's clean of all that horrible chlorine that is in our water supply. Well done Back and Blum, have recommended to many friends.

When someone writes to a company to make a complaint about misleading images on their website, one should expect a reply. Not receiving one shows how little this company cares about how they represent themselves as long as money is being made. Thankfully they’re not the only game in town. First and last time I make a purchase from Black + Blum.

Disappointing customer service interaction. Their Lifetime guarantee is not honoured and is essentially worthless.

The thermopots are excellent just the right size for transporting hot food, they look great and are perfect for the job, I can give these and the company a massive 5* they have a wonderful array of really useful products and I have no hesitation in recommending them

Fantastic customer service. Had an issue with a broken bottle top. Very helpful and efficient in resolving the problem. Couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

Bought and fitted a kitchen from Magnets 7 years ago. It has 4 1000mm cupboards, which have up and over doors operated by 2 Blum hinges. The hinges started to fail; meaning the door slammed shut rather than soft closed. Contacted Magnets in Christchurch who although helpful said the part was no longer available. I then rang Blum in Milton Keynes and their technical department. Got a brilliant response as they sent me two new pistons for the hinges plus advice and a video on how to install them, didn't charge me a penny, sent a few helpful emails and great friendly advice when speaking on the phone to them. Fitted the pistons in the hinges in seconds and door works perfectly. Couldn't be more helpful or better.

Really great quality products for modern living and working environments. I would highly recommend.

The plastic/rubber lid gets mouldy and doesn't clean off. When I asked Black + Blum how to clean or if they could replace they told me to buy a new one! This is a really bad service for something which should be considered a premium product.

My order arrived a week after ordering. This was fine as I wasn't in a particular rush. However, in that particular week I was a sent an email by the courier, saying my item would be delivered the next day but then a second email the day after saying it would be delivered the day after that, which was a bit confusing. Besides this, the item was well packaged and didn't come wrapped in any unnecessary plastic. Having used it for a while now, I'm very happy with the quality of the product.

Excellent quality, quick delivery. I can see I'll be expanding my collection of B+B gear!
