These are truly horrible sandals and it's taken me 5 pairs and 7 years to come to this conclusion.
I understand and appreciate the breaking in period. But tell me why a pair that I have literally had for 4 years, well broken in, to the point that the outer sole is pretty worn down, yet I still can't spend a full day walking around town in them? They're only good for taking 100 steps at a time.
Any more and it's like walking on broken glass, they will take the skin off your feet until it feels like you're waking on hot coals.
They're not cheap either! But stupid me keeps buying them, each time waiting to hit that "soft spot" of comfort that people keep talking about, but from my experience it doesn't exist.
I have never known sandals to be so uncomfortable. I am so sick of putting up with the pain of wearing them. I would rather walk barefoot on the street. It would be more comfortable.
I ordered 2 pair of Birkenstock Boston clogs. I ordered 39 size for each shoe. One arrived and is indeed size 39. A few weeks later the second pair arrived. It size 39 but it’s not. It longer and wider than the shoe description online. I asked to return for a refund but I have been told I made a mistake ordering the wrong size.
The first pair was a 39 and it fits perfect.
I think I should be able to return it and receive a refund. I think insulting me by saying it is my mistake is terrible customer service.
/these are fake reviews. I ordered a cognac pair, got an odd yellow pair and they will not refund. I sent the shoes back at my own expense and they refused it at the door. I am involving my credit card and PayPal for a refund. If you do that too, their payment rights will be revoked. Let's shut them down
My mother returned a pair of shoes back in late August to HQ, with the company having sent her the wrong product in the first case, and is still waiting to get her refund. She received confirmation that her shoes had been received in late August, has spoken with multiple customer service agents to confirm same, yet no sign of the organisation returning her 180 euro. This quite honestly feels like theft at this point. Will quite honestly never purchanse from this organisation again.

The courier blames the retailer and the retailer blames the courier but either way, I don't get my shoes.
Surely you would expect Birkenstock to provide a courier with a complete address, not one that could be anywhere within twenty square miles. I am rural so detail is important. Contact the courier they say in chat...I did and it fell on deaf ears (ironic) so fulfil your responsibilities and ensure they have the right address. Of course, if I could phone, some sense of urgency might prevail but as I am actually deaf, this is a nonstarter. Chat says"Sorry (but tough) your shoes will be returned and your refund might take several weeks" Seriously? I want my shoes, not the refund. Obviously, that's not going to happen and I'll continue to wear my 20 year old Birkies till they fall apart....then I'll buy some Crocs
Mistakenly , I posted on Birkenstock.com.hk trustpilot page, like many, believing it was the legitimate page however after zero response I checked back and realised it was not the legitimate B-stock TP page but this one is. So hopefully I can get a response from the powers that be as I’ve had no luck in receiving my order, getting a refund or a replacement pair of shoes since buying online… and I’m not the only one suffering at the hands of this sham company - check out the rest of the reviews on the other page - (this is my post on the other TP page) Don’t bother buying online. Appalling experience. Despite numerous correspondence between supplier & shipper I’ve still not received the shoes.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Refuse to return my shoes or issue me a refund. Different agent replies to every single email resulting in so many back and forths. On email 21 and still not resolved with lots of conflicting information on the way. Avoid at all costs

You have to pay full price of the package to make a return. You can return the items in their shop but they are far away from everything, work only until 17:00 on weekdays and only until 12:00 on Saturdays. Absolute joke of a store. If you want a proper aftersales service do avoid.

Well , I received the package and the sice was to big …….I had to return it by post …….but notickets for return …… so I had to pay 11€ …just to return the package …this is not possible …
Will never order anymore online ….best in the shop

The shoes did not fit, so I returned them and got refunded the same week. The team is very kind and helpful.
