The 3rd bike odyssey tour I’ve done and as always the team were outstanding in taking care of our biking and tourism needs. Japan was incredible and to have Japanese speaking guides ( one local and 2 longtime residents ) share their love of the country, was truly fabulous. The routes chosen really showcased the best biking the country had to offer. Great support by them all meant our needs were well and truly met. Well done bike odyssey yet again. Go shogun3!

I’ve been on 11 cycling tours now, two with Bike Odyssey, and I can recommend them strongly with no reservations. They are a first class operation from communication and guides to accommodations and routes. What really sets them apart is the unique nature of their trips. Their point-to-point adventures are challenging (cycling wise), but incredibly rewarding (e-bikes are available).

You’ll see extraordinary locations; from charming villages to UNESCO heritage sites. Their Trek bikes are stellar.

Don’t hesitate to take a tour with them, we’ve already planned our third!

The SHOGUN tour across Japan was phenomenal!

Fanstastic Vikings tour from Copenhagen to Alesund. The guides and support were amazing and very thoughtful. The planning of routes was well designed and the accommodation and food top class.

Shogun by Bike Odyssey is an absolutely brilliant ride through rural and quiet rindou roads, classic climbs and the Shimanami Kaido and with some town and minimal city riding. Great exposure to Japan's scenery, culture and food. Mechanical support, meals and snacks, logistics and local knowledge were all spot on. I would do it again.

I have participated in three Bike Odyssey tours: Hannibal, Lionheart, and Othello, and each one was unique and amazing. The routes are meticulously planned, a mix challenging rides and mountains to tick of the bucket list and spectacular scenery. The guides are knowledgeable, the accommodation and meals are excellent, love the picnics. I Highly recommend Bike Odyssey.

What a magnificent itinerary and the trip was very well organised, all I had to do was turn up in my lycra, rearing to go. Accommodation top notch. Cruising the Greek islands on a gulet - unforgettable.
Some improvements to be made for vegetarian offering but food otherwise fresh and interesting.

Having gone on Othello, the Morocco trip (first half), we signed up for Odyssey, the Turkey/Greece trip (first half). Again, we were not disappointed - Sam and Isabel put on a good show. We will continue to patronize Bike Odyssey for all our international trips as they can't be matched by other outfits. Highly recommend.

I’ve just completed my third cycling trip with Bike Odyssey. It reenforced my views of them as an absolutely great tour company. The guides are knowledgeable, personable and extremely supportive; the hotels and meals and wines are first class; the picnic lunches are unbeatable. And that’s off the bike: cycling routes are as advertised and well scouted, documented and mapped. I look forward to more adventures with Bike Odyssey.

I participated in the Tasmania odyssey. I absolutely loved it! Everything was well organized and supported. The routes were vetted in advance. The guides were amazing and the participants were fun and friendly. I can’t wait for my next odyssey. Not inexpensive but well worth every penny!

Just returned from a fabulous cycling tour of Morocco and Spain (Custom Othello). Brilliant pre-tour organisation made for a trouble-free trip despite the recent earthquakes in Morocco, where our tourism was desperately needed. I am very pleased that Bike Odyssey, having determined it was safe to proceed, did not cancel. Our guides on the road were amazing. Experienced, friendly and well organised. Plenty of backup along the road by way of drinks, nibbles and mechanical assistance. Nothing was too much trouble. Wonderful accommodation and dining experiences throughout in both Morocco and Spain. It's clearly evident that Bike Odyssey does their research thoroughly to seek out and deliver the best experience.

I had a wonderful experience with Bike Odyssey. There are very few Cycle Tour companies that offer tours lasting more than just a few days. I participated in the "Venetians" tour in 2023. I am glad the trip included spectacular rides in both Slovenia and Croatia, the former a lesser known bike destination. The tour was very well organized and the bike mechanics and tour guides were top notch. Lodging was always the best available considering than small villages definitely worth visiting have limited options. Memories of this tour will last a lifetime. I am already planning to sign up for more Bike Odyssey trips in the near future.

Our recent Bike Odyssey tour of Tasmania from Hobart to Launceston was a magical experience. The organization by Isabella and Sam was impeccable and the expertise in cycling - Chris an inspiration! - and tour co-ordination evident and so professional. The routes chosen were ideal to challenge and offer wonderful views of the countryside at the same time. As a couple we were able to enjoy a cycling holiday together for the first time. Liz on an e-bike and Bill on his own roadbike brought from Brisbane. The accommodation venues arranged were all of a high quality and we certainly appreciated the remedial massages with Sarah!
We look forward to joining many future adventures with the amazing Bike Odyssey team!!

Bike Tour was very well organised. Accommodation and meals were excellent. Riders were able to ride at own pace without hassles. Staff were very helpful, great fun and great people.

Sam and Isi set up short breaks in Australia to relieve the tedium of the Corona virus restrictions and the Berry break we joined on our tandem proved that Bike Odyssey was able to match the quality of their customary European trips here at home. The riding was unexpectedly challenging, utilising mostly quiet roads, the weather was satisfyingly pleasant and the company, support, food and accommodation were outstanding. Just as we have come to expect from Bike Odyssey!

Surpassed all expectations (and they were already high!). Sam seemed to be everywhere, conjuring up fabulous meals, shopping, repairing bikes, filling water bottles and all with a cheerful smile. Highly recommended.

Tassie Down Under was my first Bike Odyssey and I couldn’t have been more thrilled with how it all went! Sam and Isabel leave nothing to chance, they are super organized and extremely accommodating to the varying needs of each person on tour. The support they gave us both on and off the bike was absolutely outstanding. The accommodation was high end and the meals were incredible. I’m already planning my next Bike Odyssey and it won’t be my last!

A really relaxing well organised and enjoyable trip. Sam and Isi were enthusiastic, supportive and very personable tour leaders. Would heartily recommend Bike Odyssey trips.
