Big K Products Reviews

Great charcoal, fast delivery and good value

My ‘Go To’ for BBQ Big Lumps!

I’ve used Big K since I bought my Kamado a few years back and, even though I’ve tried other charcoal, their’Big Lump’ wood is the best by far.

And, with free (and quick) delivery when you buy just two big bags, I’m a real fan of what they offer and how they look after their customers.

Highly recommended.

Great charcoal for home bbq's, the 10kg bags and ability to buy in bulk keeps the cost down for a summer of bbqing.
The charcoal is easy to light with "woodies" and produces a good and even burn for around 40 mins, plenty of time to get my burgers and sausages cooked.

This is the first time in 8 years that Big K has let me down. Ordered 4 x premium grade 5kg bags to use on Big Green Egg. Only a few large lumps with the vast majority being closer to disposal bbq size. The Egg requires bigger lumps for long cooks, what was supplied is inadequate despite years of fantastic lump wood. Considering changing supplier for next order…

Great service delivery on time and good quality

Great service with prompt delivery but best of all is the excellent quality of the charcoal. Thanks Big K team.

Great product - great service - my preferred lumpwood charcoal for all our bbq's

If you are serious about brai'ing (BBQ'ing), then there's no better place to stock up on your charcoal than Big K. I tried several "premium" brands from local shops, including garden centres, and they are all rubbish compared to Big K charcoal. Lights up easily, keeps temperature for long, food tastes amazing. For me it's a no brainer. I highly recommend Big K charcoal!
Also their delivery is reliable. Prices are competitive.

I've been using BigK for a couple of years now, always had great burn times with minimal ash. Also brilliant delivery times thank you BigK

Thx big k

Fast delivery for the charcoal and fire lighters.
Very little smoke from the charcoal when lighting, with heat lasting for a good few hours.
Makes really good tasting food, unlike the briquettes you buy from supermarkets.
It's the only charcoal I'll buy from now on.

Product as described and delivered promptly, thank you.

Easy to order, great selection and good price makes for very good value for money. Quick, free delivery too.
15kg Professional Marabu Lumpwood charcoal and 5kg Restaurant Grade Hot Brix bought for smoker.

This company just delivers a great product at a great price and the actual delivery side is so efficient it’s amazing

We have bought Restaurant Grade lumpwood charcoal from big K for a number of years and it has always been excellent.

Instant lighting charcoal used to be the best on the market - I’ve been buying it for several years. This year however it is absolutely awful. They have changed the accelerant used on these bags. It’s smells different, that was the first thing I noticed and then swiftly followed by the bag not lighting at all. We’ve had to relight several times to try and get one bag to burn and even then it’s such a job. These used to light like a dream and burn for hours. I’m assuming it has been changed relating to cost factors. But I would rather have paid more for the old version! Time to find another brand

I purchased 2 bags of 15kg Dura Restaurant Grade Lumpwood Charcoal (ACH15) directly from the website. They arrived quickly. The quality is superb - good size and no dust. I recommend.

Excellent ordering and delivery process, only time will tell if I am satisfied with the charcoal once I open the bag.
