Visited while they had a 40% off all clothing sale I had to go back because they didn’t apply 40% off my item (a shirt). Thankfully I checked my receipt. Buyer beware! Also they round up to an extra cent when applying GST and PST when according to the math it was not required. Example : total of item is $5.01 +pst+ gst =$5.60 but they will charge $5.61 . I always scrutinize my receipts. They are taking additional .01cent in taxes for every customer that makes a purchase! Always ask for your receipts!

Where's the change room?

I had heard of the Big Box Outlet store in central Edmonton AB 11311 120 Street but had never stopped in to have a look. There was ample parking available so I decided on the spur of the moment to go in. I was warmly greeted and told the cashier it was my first visit. She told me to take as much time as I needed. I barely made it through the clothes area when I had questions and at that moment , Kai, a very knowledgeable salesgirl, appeared to answer them all. She patiently explained the whole process of buying, returns, credits, senior days and benefits of being a member, etc so the store had no need to have a change room. I learned so much in such a short time that when I was finally finished perusing the entire store and at the check out I signed up for a membership. Yes, I will return in the near future. It's the kind of store you should visit often because you never know what you might find. Thank you Kai for helping me understand that. See you soon!

And guys don't give him your card details I give him my debit card details so it's take my money 8500 AED dirham so be careful guys

I used to love this place

I used to love this place! It had good prices. But now most of this stuff is from Costco and it’s most of the time MORE money for the same items! Plus you only get 30 refund policy if that, depending on what you would buy. It’s just not worth it anymore. The food items are minimal now and the prices for the food items is way over priced. So why would I buy from here, when I get a no questions asked policy for returns at Costco, and usually for less cost for the same items. This is definitely NOT an “outlet” store. So disappointed.

if i could give 0 reviews i would defineatly would because this is definitely the biggest scam/
i bought recently Airpods from this store and i received them broken and the sound doesn't eve work.
when i asked for a refund 5 days after the purchase i got a message only a week after my email.
they told me that there was no refund for the Airpods.
huge scam don't buy.

Refund without Notice

Order a monitor online and I just found out it has been refunded after a couple days of purchase. I did not get any email and had to login my account to check the status.

*EDITED* Do not order from this company!

**UPDATE* I stopped in to the local BBOS (Sherwood Park), and found all the help I needed to get this resolved! The three personnel I spoke to were friendly, helpful and understanding and the manager was able to contact the BC HO and generate my refund on the spot. Note that the online ordering/ship to store thing should probably still be avoided, but I will definitely go back to shop this location in person. Increased my rating from one star to three, solely due to the great customer service experience I had at the store.**
I ordered a hepa air filter for $100 online on July 13, 2024 and requested it be shipped to a 'recently opened' local store. The confirmation advised I would receive an email from the store when the item was ready for pickup, and a tracking number was supplied to look up status on their website. After several days of hearing nothing further, I checked the website and found no status change in the item. I contacted customer service via the website form and did receive a reply, only to be told that the item is in transit to the store and could take between 9 - 15 days to be received. After another few days, I again contacted the rep directly via email and was told it should be received by the 'end of the week'. When that didn't happen, I emailed again to say if it isn't received by the beginning of the following week, I would cancel my order and pursue a refund. Crickets. I've been trying to contact them all week now via email, every phone number on their website and even the local 'new' store, and no one is answering. The auto-director for all the BC numbers just sent me in circles. I can only assume the company has folded and my $100 is gone for good. If the company has gone under, that's great for consumers, but I really would have liked my money back.

2 days over the return date

I went to the store in Vernon BC and I had purchased a second hand electric lawn mower 1 month and TWO days ago and when I arrived back home I started it and away I went to cutting the lawn,,,,,,, well I have a small lawn and the machine battery’s did not last!! It did not take long for one battery to lose its charge as well as the blades stopped and started and it was making clogged sounds!! We thought that the lawn was to long for it at 5 ish inches high and so we decide to try it again with shorter grass.. The battery did not keep its charge and still has the clogging sound and the the blade was sticking again….
I talked to the guy at the till and asked him to look up the day I purchased it and it came up I was two day late on bring it back. I talked to a manager on duty for the day. I told him about it and he said he could offer me a store credit and ya I guess and then talked to him again and said that I would like to have my money back instead. He told me to call back and talk to Lisa and she may do something different due to it being TWO days late. The long and the short, Lisa said NO and that she wouldn’t allow me to return it and get my money back!! I can’t believe it!!! I have shopped in the store all the time and have for years. I tell so many people that know nothing about the store or even where it is!! I’m still in shock over it all!! I was told that if I had issues with the lawnmower I could bring it back without any issue but because I was TWO days late, there would be no money back.. I love the store and have always had great customer service and friendly staff to help but after this I’m so sad over the whole thing and I feel like I’m not valued as customer.. Things have changed so much and it’s harder to juggle days and times these days. ;(

SCAM Advertisement on TikTok selling at too good to be true price. Bank sent verification code for payment to go through however it then said could not be verified. I received a notification advising my card was now added to Google Pay. Rang the bank, cancelled card and had it removed from Google Pay. It had been added to a Samsung phone and it’s been many years since I’ve used a Samsung.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I ordered a product advertised with…

I ordered a product advertised with free shipping. They contacted me after I paid saying I’d need to pay more and they wouldn’t ship it for free. Either this was a mistake and they should own it, or it’s a bait and switch scam, not impressive either way. I would avoid.

scam and fraud

I have tried to buy a box of chocolates and after I put my card details and waited to send me OTP number but it never happened. my bank contacted me as they tried to use my card details to register with Apple Pay. I cancelled my card immediately and luckily they haven't used it.

I ordered a nintendo that i saved up for THREE YEARS.So i buy a “refurbished nintendo”.So when i boght it i was very happy.So two days later i pick it up,i brought it home and it won’t connect to the wifi for some reason.And the controllers don’t work.Refurbished my ass.It makes no sense.AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
