I really love our annual trips to Big…
I really love our annual trips to Big Bear and I do love the customer service at BB Cool Cabins. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because we had a power outage and I felt that we should have been sent a txt or email telling us about it and then maybe offering advice on what to do would have been nice. We had dog food in the fridge and freezer and no place to even purchase ice. Other than that, great as always.

A true “Forest Escape”
This was my third time with Cool Cabins and every time has been a great experience. “Forest Escape” was the perfect cabin for my solo hiking trip. It was very peaceful and quiet. The cabin had everything I needed and the location was perfect. Thank you!!

Clean, gated, and convenient location
Overall, I liked everything—the property was clean inside and out, and being gated in a nice neighborhood made it feel safe. It was also easy to get to the zoo and nearby stores. I appreciated that they had everything for cooking and grilling, which made the stay even better. The only downsides were a cigarette burn on the ottoman and a broken, very uncomfortable bed. If the beds were updated, I would definitely return.

The dining seats were so filthy
The dining seats were so filthy. Sofa and love seats with stains and smelly. Keurig coffee machine needs descale, taste bad.

We enjoyed our overnight stay.
We enjoyed our overnight stay at this well equipped pleasant house. We were a group of 8 and it was spacious, with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The beds were not the most comfortable but as it was only a one night stay it was not a big deal. It was clean, though one of the bathrooms needed a bit more attention to detail (dead flies). One thing to note is that the place is close to the local airport and the planes start flying at 7am and it is quite noisy if you have the windows open. I would recommend for a short stay for a large group.

View was great. House was clean. Wifi was not working, was told to restart router but still did not work after that. Bed is master was very bad woke up with a backache both days.

Horrible Stench
The perimeter of the cabin had a horrible stench from a leaking septic tank or plumbing problem, which remained throughout our stay. If we left our windows open, we could also smell it inside the cabin.

The house was very nice,lots of room. The only negative was it being right on the highway and pretty noisy when trying to sleep. I would also recommend putting a pizza cutter in the kitchen.
