A good friend of mine had won a bid just before new year and didn't know that they would be open new years weekend and scheduled an appointment on their website to pick up the item she had paid for at next available date they would be open after the holiday. She had asked me to go pick it up for her showing me her pick up appointment and their location so I drove to the designated pickup building a little over 40 miles away one way to be told that since the item hadn't been picked up within 5 days of the bids close that I would not be able to pick up the already paid for auction item. Which I personally am going to look into legalities of because it sound to me like theft or some other criminalistic withholding a person's personal property since its already been purchased which means it by then certainly no longer belongs to the auction house for sure.
