Bad Beyond Belief
Bad Beyond Belief. Unethical and unreliable. I contracted them six weeks in advance for a removal from a house in France, taking a dozen boxes back to the UK. On the morning I'd booked the removal they called me in Brittany to say they were cancelling. There was an obviously made-up story about a sick driver and their unsuccessful attempts to find a replacement that sounded like it was being read from a script. This was a couple of days before the sale completed, so I was left with a huge headache to sort out, on top of all the other admin involved in exiting a property in another country.
The woman who called me had a scouse accent, although the company is based in London. Not remarkable by itself, but what was very strange was the call I got less than 10 minutes later from someone from another removals company - also with a scouse accent - offering to step in for exactly double the price that I'd agreed with Beyond Removals. Avoid this company like the plague and find a reputable firm you can trust.
