At Beyond, we’re on a mission to modernise after-life services through transparency, technology and consumer empowerment. Historically people have only likely written a will once… if at all, organised a funeral once… if at all, or had to deal with probate or estate administration. That lack of consumer knowledge and power, coupled with the taboo nature of death, has resulted in an industry that hasn’t modernised, hasn’t digitised, hasn’t acted in the consumer interest for years. Before we entered the funeral industry in 2016, nobody in the funeral business published their prices up front. Ever. Now over 50% of funeral directors’ prices and reviews are listed on Beyond. Instead of an expensive one-time dusty document locked in a drawer, our digital wills are a living legal record, easily updateable as life changes. Our online obituaries help families commemorate loved ones and raise money for charity or funeral costs. And our industry-leading advice centre receives over 100,000 visitors a month. We make complex subjects simple and transparent and we’re here to give help or advice, whenever you need it.

After weeks got an email saying they are not completing the will and refunding the money. Not had the money back yet!!
Not received will and no one responding to me!
I have paid for my will and not recieved it. I have called 3 times and left a message with a very helpful and polite person, who has promised someone will call me back and no one has called me. I have sent 3 x emails chasing up my will, and no one has replied.
I am increasingly concerned that my money has been taken and I have been scammed, and will not recieve my will.
No contact or customer service
My wife and I used the Beyond Life will writing service. Completing a will each and both financial and health power of attorneys for each of us. The process was easy and we were informed it would take 3 to 5 days for the documents to be checked and returned to us so that we could have them signed and completed. Although we had a discount code we paid £240. After over a week we had heard nothing, so I rang and was apologised to and told someone would ring me the next day, that never happened. I rang again and was told again that I would be contacted, again nothing. Ive so far sent 3 emails and its now approaching 4 weeks and still no one has even contacted us to apologise or explain what the holdup is. So I would not recommend this company.
Paid the money for a will
Paid the money for a will. Said it was being checked and they woukd get back to me in 2-3 days. Its been a month. i emailed customer services and they havent replied. So money spent and no will.
It was very easy to create
It was very easy to create. I feel it is a little expensive for what it is, but it is an important thing to do.
No repsonse
I applied for my Will ar the beginning of January and paid the fee. Since then I have heard nothing back despite chasing
The initial set up and £10 a year to…
The initial set up and £10 a year to change the Will as many times is great BUT I agree with the last two reviews. There’s no phone number direct to Beyond! I’m sure there used to be. I’ve been trying to get in touch about setting up my LPA. I got put through to the funeral company and they took my details. I did get a call from a mobile number but wasn’t able to take it at that moment. The man’s name was James and the number was 07519 239828. I’ve tried to call back with no answer and I’ve also text the number. What happens when I die? There’ll be no one to contact! Initially over the moon and now very disappointed and the company do not fill me with confidence.
Total lack of customer service - avoid!
This company has a good web interface for drafting your will but that's it.
Their follow-up customer service is non-existent - no response my multiple calls and emails.
I strongly suspect they do not actually have any staff - just AI.
No way to contact them. Think of your executors
Don't bother. The contact number on their website is for a funeral service. The only way to get in contact with anyone on the will writing side is to call the funeral service and ask them to send an email to the will writing team. The kind gentleman I spoke to in the funeral service confirmed this.
Can you imaging the headache this will cause for the executors of your will????
I abandoned the will submission process and decided to go find another provider instead.

I think they are reely good at writin wills cos it was ded easy and it took like literally a minute. I think you shud use them if Yoo wanna write a will
Well that was easy
Well that was easy. Thank you Beyond, both Will and LPAs are sorted and I now have peace of mind.
could be more flexible
Helpful service, however some inflexibility, for example you can only enter a specific £ amount to leave people, but if you have no idea how much, if any, actual money you may have when you die, this is useless. I have valuable possessions I've left people, but no actual money, so I can't specify an amount to leave, and there's no option to just say "a percentage of whatever there may be" or "all of whatever there happens to be when I die" as an option. A bit more flexibility on responses would be helpful or an "other" option
