Aime provided excellent service! She has helped me to resolve some old tax issues dating back to 2021. I was scared I was going to owe the IRS but it turns out I am owed a refund!

Better Tax Relief gave me unverified information to scare me about the threat I was facing from the IRS to induce me into spending $12.5k to have a team of expert tax accountants and attorneys to help me. When I started working with them, I quickly realized the people handling my case did not know anything about tax codes (I knew more). I asked to speak with a tax expert and had an hour long conversation where I found out later I was given incorrect advice. Then my project manager forgot to move my account into the "data complete" category so my taxes could get started. I discovered this weeks later when facing an important deadline. Then when I received my tax return I discovered a huge number of omissions and errors - including not itemizing when it would have saved me money, leaving out essential deductions that I discussed with the tax expert. It turns out the tax expert took zero notes and they weren't in my file. All this was in the face of multiple missed meetings on their end, a complete lack of accountability, what seems to be a purposefully confusing process, and it was all predicated on lies. When I asked when I was going to get the value for my money they said "the bulk of it happens in the resolution phase". I had to use an AI assistant to find all the errors and mistakes in the tax return which were many. This was clearly not an army of experts and the looming deadlines that they told me I was facing were nowhere in my file. They didn't seem to exist. I asked for a transcript of all IRS records and communications and nothing about them getting ready to come after me and having a record of specific assets that they brought up to scare me before I gave them a huge sum of money was in there. It was clear I needed to hire someone else to help me - that the feeling I was not working with a legitimate service was probably true. I demanded a refund. They asked zero questions - which is typical - whenever I spoke with them I would have to say over and over again "Apologies are not solutions. Please give me a solution". My refund demand was deflected with word salad responses, accusations that it was all my fault and absolutely zero attempt to resolve my issue aside from a final email that was titled "Our commitment to resolve this amicably" which included zero dates and more word salad about how it wasn't their fault - oh - and how they had put so much work into my case they had to charge me. But they always said when I was concerned about what I paid for "the bulk of the work happens in the resolution phase" which we never got to. I also said I should not have to pay 12k for teaching their tax preparers on how to do my taxes. That is ridiculous. I am going to have to sue them and file complaint with the BBB bureau to reclaim my money. There are many complaints on BBB. Stay away from this business.

The people at Better Tax Relief really care and go to great lengths to make a stressful situation better. I've been working with Liz and she has been wonderful and gave us an option that we needed! She explained things so well with a goal to help us. She should be commended for a job well done

Better tax relief is an excellent company they really help solve my tax debts. I was so worried about paying the irs but they communicated with the irs from start to finish .I never had to communicate with irs BTR Has helped me a great deal no more letters no garnishments no liens .I recommend BTR 100% .

Jae was very personable and through in explaining my situation to me with very little information that he got from me.I just started the process today. So I guess and honest review will be fourth coming but as far as up until this point. I felt as if I had gotten my dad to stand up for me against a bully and we were going to kick some ass! Or at least have the bully down on his knees begging for his life… I felt like I had known Jae for years within the first few times of speaking to him…Took away all my worries and apprehension..He did an outstanding job!!! So far so good I have had the opportunity to work with Anthony S. Very transparent as well as clear and patient with advice. Really felt i was being cared for. Now just waiting on the next steps.

This company is full of delays, they are not easy to reach over the phone, and they aren't organized enough internally to stay on the same page with each other. They send me emails with old status, requests. I feel I got duped. They sold their services with the false impression they would quickly handle my case. Their delays are causing hold up on matters I need to get done that can't happen until after my tax issues are resolved. I am sorely disappointed and have no hope in timing at this point. They are overly booked with clients-dont sign up with them as you will just be a number in a lottery pool.

Danny Delva has made this process so much better for me. He places the “better” in the title “Better Tax Relief” I find it difficult to reach others but Danny is reachable or he will always return my call, and his assistance is top notch. He was my first line of contact and he continues to be a source of comfort during this trying time of resolving tax debt. I’m very pleased with Danny and will always turn to him in my times of distress over my tax issues.
