I ordered a radio on June 3, I sent a follow up message on June 9 asking for an update and I got an update within a few hours that evening.

Mark clearly takes customer support seriously and is very responsive.

Two 916’s last April.
Had problems getting repeater channels working.
The repeater is 18 miles away.
I live on top of ridge, have no problem hitting it with Midland Mxt 275 Mobile/base unit.
The 916’s do not pick up repeater.
Friend of mine brought over his Rocky Talkie 5 watt
GMRS HT they hit the repeater from inside my house as well as outside with no problem, sound loud and clear.I sold the two 916’s to a couple I know, they use them at the rv park and camping.

I ordered two 916 + thinking they would work since everything I read said they were upgraded to 5 watt.
Not the case, no better than the other 916’s.
Disappointed. Will be returning these two before 27 June. Thirty day return period.
I have no complaints with Mark and his customer service, he does a good job.
Wouxun is a great product, wish the 916’s would have worked for me.

Just recieved my WOUXUN UV9GX+ and some other accessories I ordered. Only took a week.

According to NotARubicon this makes me a radio dork. I'm okay with that. This is superior to my WOUXUN UV9G PRO best part was that I could copy (ctrl c) and paste (ctrl v) right into the code plug to add my local repeaters to the updated codes.

Well worth the purchase. Next I'd like to get a Yagi antenna and an RF finder to do some fox hunting.

The radio and gear was packaged extremely well so it arrived safe. You can tell Mark takes pride in his business. I will definitely order from, better safe radios again. Prices were very reasonable, the included programming was a nice touch.

Working a problem with BSR was a wonderful experience ! BSR also made recommendations to a a antenna for my HT works far better than expected.

Mark Lindsey did great at getting my order out but it was USPS that dropped the ball. The package made it to my town but then got misplaced or it ended up on another truck going somewhere else but it's all good. It showed up a couple days later. I'm still happy with my purchase and of course I will be buying more from BSR ! 🙂

I have purchased Wouxon KG-UV9GX & KG-UV9PX HT's & accessories for them from Mark. I've always been a fan of the big 3 Japanese amateur radios, but I must say that I'm impressed with the quality & user friendliness of these 2 HT's that Mark had a hand in the design of. The pre-programming done by Mark is very useful and can be easily modified to add local frequencies. Mark has been a pleasure to do business with & both orders have shipped promptly & have been packaged very well.
