While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Complete and Utter Waste of Time - I verified that two of my providers use "Better"Doctor and if I didn't have clients who needed services, I would leave just because of this site. CAQH requires verification once a year. WorstDoctor gives a constant bombardment for quarterly updates. I literally just finished one and I had to do another. Do you think that we're out here moving offices every two months???? Make these annual reviews and maybe you'll have something. Until this this is another waste of providers time and resources.

A charge was made on my checking account for $34.98.
I immediately contact this company.
And received this email...
For better assistance, please provide more information about the charge. Could you provide the first 6 and last 4 digits of your card, the name on the card and if you have another email address.
I replied NO.
And made a claim with the Federal Trade Commission. Who replied that they do not pursue claims!
Who else can I contact?

Today they called me on my urgent line during my off hours. Meaning I get notified that a patient is in crisis. If I am out of the service area, which I often am on my off time, I would need to hike into service area to return the call. They said it was an automated call. Auto presses 1 for urgent matter??? Liars!!

Get weekly faxes claiming they are affiliated with Priority Health. If you type in the url, it brings you to a landing page, not a real site. Total scam. Agree with the others! They need to be shut down!

I get faxes weekly, sometimes more than once saying AETNA must verify my credentials. THIS IS A SCAM and is not AETNA or any other company that is legitimate. Someone needs to investigate and have them shut down and arrested.

Reply from Quest Analytics BetterDoctor®
THEY HAVE SENT ME NUMEROUS REQUESTS TO VERIFY MY INFORMATION FOR AETNA BETTER HEALTH BUT MY COMPUTER SOFTWARE BLOCKED ME FROM RESPONDING INDICATING IT WAS FORBIDDING ACCESS SUGGESTING THIS IS A PHISHING WEBSITE.

I work for a Nursing Home and they have called numerous times.
They do not speak English and very demanding.

I got mail from this company eluding to the fact they "work" for Pacific Source and that I am required to update my information with them. I looked up reviews and all are bad that this company is not legit. I looked up the address on the letter 2443 Fillmore St #308, San Francisco, CA and this is a UPS store with apartments above it. This appears to be an unsafe data mining operation-Definitely not legit!

Why do they fax me? They can not even say, who they are, why should I "validate" any information on me, CS does not even listen! We have enough unprofessional AI already!
They just popped up out of nowhere - they do not even exist, along with the email address they state.
A real site that does exist is BeyondOrganicDoctors.com, totally different and legit.
If I could give them zero stars I would! I have no clue who they are and they constantly hound you for information. I asked them to remove my information from their site and I was told no since it was public information. So I let them know the information listed was incorrect and asked them to correct it. Again I was told no. I blocked their emails, and it worked for a while. Now they are back to hounding me by email again! There should be some law again this harassment!
Have no idea who they are and why they constantly asking me questions every year. in the beginning I made the mistake of giving my email and phone number... if you don't fill our their stupid questionnaire, they just spam you til you do... I looked them up and seems they don't really do anything except collect data... I don't need my data collected ...
Betterdoctor.com is a provider database collection service selling your sensitive provider information. They try to make you think Medicaid, Medicare, or insurance companies are using them to validate your credentialing information. They are not.
We started getting these constant faxes that we need to validate and update our provider information. Fax literally says "you must confirm this information to be accurate." I called the phone number on the bottom. I spoke to their rep and asked what insurance plan is demanding me to update my information through their company. The rep said we contract with over 400 insurance companies and Medicaid and Medicare. I said I do all the credentialing and I have never had any insurance company send me anything about your company or that they will be using their company to update provider information. Rep said its most likely through Medicaid and Medicare because they do not inform providers of the change. I said ok.
I then contacted reps from Medicaid and Medicare who confirmed, no they have no affiliation with betterdoctor.com and they do not use them for any provider update or validation of information.
Called rep back at betterdoctor.com, I said I was told by your fax and rep that I am required to validate and update our provider information using your company for 400 insurance carriers, Medicaid, and Medicare. I contacted Medicare and Medicaid and I was told they have no affiliation with betterdoctor.com. I told the rep that I do not know how your business legally demands provider information under the lie that you represent insurance or Medicaid/Medicare programs. I said this seems very fraudulent and I want the constant faxes and contact from your company to stop immediately. Rep said yes sir and said she would take us off their list with no denial that they are doing nothing but scamming sensitive provider information basically for a database so they can sale ads and scam providers into purchasing other products to "advertise."
Call rep and demand to be taken off their scam list.
I'm a massage therapist and only am contracted with one healthcare company directly. BetterDoctor faxes my office every week, claiming that I need to verify my information for an insurance company I have never been contracted with. They claim can't remove this from their records, that I have to contact the company (PacificSource) directly. So I contacted PacificSource, and they said I have to contact another company Uprise, who credentials mental health professionals. I am not a mental health professional! Uprise credentialing department phone# goes straight to voice mail and cuts you off before you can leave all the info they request. I left them 5 messages but they have never called back. This is WRONG. They should not be allowed to do this. As if this is not bad enough, BetterDoctor keeps merging me and my office roommate into one business, although we are not. We have corrected this in the past but they keep shoving our data together. You can see they are a datamining scam company by the way they answer: "Oh gee, we really are contracted by insurance companies, really we are, although we can't tell you which ones."
Sick of receiving these faxes to update my information. Just another ridiculous addition to the already ridiculous amount of paperwork that is associated with insurance billing. I have just completed the last one I intend to complete. If an insurance company kicks me off their provider list then so be it.
I just attempted to call and investigate as to what insurance company was using this company. I was told that there was only one individual who could help me and she was on a call. I am beyond tired of receiving these faxes requesting me to update my information!
Betterdoctor sent me a fax with the name of an insurance I am paneled with on top, as though that is who the correspondence was from. Reading further, it is yet another request to 'update' my profile that doesn't exist. Really gross they are now pretending to be affiliated with insurance panels to pressure practitioners into participating.
