If I could give a negative five stars I would. DO NOT CONTACT THIS COMPANY!!! SCAMMERS. Bait and switch. I was told my move would cost 800 dollars. When theygot my things on the truck. Told me I owed an additional 3400. I’m contacting my attorney in first thing Monday morning.

Was quoted 3k for a move they loaded the truck and said $21000 cash and they needed 70% or we won’t get our stuff back. Got the police involved and now having to sue the company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

We are now in litigation with this company. This is a criminal company.

We had a very troubling experience with Best Relocators. The company provided an initial price, but once the truck was fully loaded, the movers demanded additional payment that was not part of the original agreement. It went from $1000 to $5000, and when we challenged this, they said they would take the entire house worth of furnishings to storage and pay a substantial fee, and storage costs.

Faced with the possibility of not receiving our belongings, we paid under protest to avoid further issues.

This kind of after-the-fact pricing puts customers in an impossible position and is something anyone considering this company should be aware of. We are currently pursuing appropriate consumer protection channels and litigation to resolve the overcharge.

DO NOT EVER use this company. They utilize extortion and criminal behavior / intimidation to get what they want.

I received a written estimate of $300 from Best Relocators for a small 5-mile one-bedroom move. After paying the deposit and 70% pre-loading amount listed in the estimate, the movers increased the cost to $1,900 once my items were already on the truck. No revised written estimate or authorization was provided for the added charges. I was instructed to obtain cash only, told to go to Amscot if I did not have the money, and informed that my belongings would be unloaded back into my old apartment unless I paid immediatel, with a fee of course. I was never given a copy of the contract I signed and the company has not provided the itemized bill. The experience felt coercive and misleading, and I want other others to be aware so they can avoid a similar situation. This company is shady. Stay away from them.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Not only did our moving quote of $2200.00 go to over $12,000.00 but several of our items were damaged beyond repair. I can clearly claim that they used a "bait and switch" tactic and would NEVER recommend them to anyone. I am still trying to figure out how to file a Better Business complaint but to not to my suprise, can't seem to be able to pull them up! Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this "company."
