Having watched employees, who were brought in by Bertrandt, struggle with pay issues and notifications about job duration, l can say that l would not use them again. I will push my company to avoid them in the future, not because of their employees in the field, but because of their treatment of said employees.

The company was eager to fill a Test Driver role at a large automotive OEM and conducted a 20-min phone screen one day after application with a 'Reg Mgr' conducting a 3 min followup call an hour later to confirm an on-site (OEM) interview and test drive the next day. Passing the interview/test drive with flying colors, having many years Tier 1 Auto Supplier, OEM and engineering firm test driver experience, suddenly the frenetic energy waned and I didn't receive any follow-up for one week only to be told when I inquired to the 'Reg Mgr' that she was awaiting feedback. This lie became obvious in the second week when she responded to my second inquiry that the project had been put on hold. The laziest research revealed that the role was to fill a vacancy in the hard-to-fill afternoon shift cohort that the 'Reg Mgr' decided not to fill to increase Bertrandt's (the contract house) revenue from the OEM contract. The most inexperienced HR Generalist knows to send the standard candidate rejection email so there's no excuse from this Reg Mgr Kristy D.! When pressed about the unprofessionalism of being so responsive then so unresponsive, her reply was,"I just found out yesterday and was going to send emails today." Two days later, still no email! Such a silly, simple failure speaks volumes about who Bertrandt hires and promotes to management and how the company treats applicants: hurry up quick onboarding before shoddy, despicable treatment. Be wary.
