Don't be Trapped with Berrycast.

Don't be Trapped with Berrycast.

Was with Berrycast once upon a time & it was good. I had an active Pro user account & was told that it was lifetime license. Believed in that & have done my business by uploading all my important videos. As months progressed, they took out the option of lifetime license. Now, I was not able to access to all my stuff which I have uploaded. I wrote to tech people who worked for Berrycast but in-turn got no response. Here are 2 people whom I mailed my concern - 1) Suraj, CMO of Berrycast [sgadage at berrycast dot com] & 2) cayla.anderson at berrycast dot intercom-mail dot com [Tech assistance]

Later realized that it was a trap. so, please be mindful about Berrycast. Do Not TRUST them.

Unethetic practices

### Deceptive Company with Poor Business Practices

I was once a passionate Berrycast user, recommending it enthusiastically for years as it was a crucial part of my daily workflow. However, everything changed in an instant.

I am livid about the deceptive practices implemented by Berrycast! They had the audacity to pull a bait-and-switch move, betraying customers who believed in their "lifetime license" offer.

In November 2022, Berrycast enticed us with promises of an unlimited lifetime license for $295 on AppSumo. This license was supposed to include unlimited video storage, unlimited users, the removal of Berrycast watermarks, and many other features.

However, Berrycast failed to prepare for the resources required to deliver on their promises, forcing early adopters to pay the ultimate price. Initially, we would have accepted a fair compromise, such as limiting users from unlimited to 100 on the top tier. This wasn't pleasant, but it was understandable.

Unfortunately, they deceitfully altered the terms further by limiting users to a mere 20 total hours of hosted video—an absurd reduction from the promised unlimited hosting. This renders the account completely useless, as I had hundreds of hours of work hosted on Berrycast based on their assurances.

To add insult to injury, they gave us insufficient time to manually download all our videos, forcing us to find new hosting/storage solutions and spend hours downloading the content.

This breach of trust is unethical and shows a blatant disregard for customer loyalty. Berrycast shamelessly backtracked on their initial offer, leaving paying customers with a fraction of what was promised. This dishonesty and lack of transparency is despicable and unforgivable.

To all potential buyers, beware of Berrycast's deceitful practices. They lure you in with attractive deals only to pull the rug out from under you. Avoid this company at all costs unless you enjoy being scammed and mistreated. Shame on you, Berrycast, for your reprehensible behavior!

Deceitful company lacking business IQ

I would like to begin by saying that I was one of the most satisfied and passionate Berrycast users that I know. I recommended this product day and night for years. I loved the tool and it was one of the most important pieces of my daily workflow. But that all changed in a quick moment.

I am absolutely livid about the deceptive practices implemented by Berrycast! They had the audacity to make a sleazy bait-and-switch move that completely betrayed customers who believed in their "lifetime license" scam.

Back in November 2020, we were enticed by their false promises of an unlimited lifetime license for $295 on AppSumo. This license was supposed to include unlimited video storage, unlimited users, the removal of any Berrycast watermarks, and a host of other features.

However, Berrycast failed to prepare for the resources required to deliver on their promises, so the users who backed them early on pay the ultimate price. Many of us early adopters understood the constraints that they were facing and would have gladly accepted the first proposed change which was to go from unlimited users to a cap of 100 users on the top tier. This wasn't a pleasant change, but it was understandable and a fair compromise.

Unfortunately, they deceitfully altered the terms of the hosting as well, limiting users to a ridiculous cap of 20-total hours of hosted video, which is exponentially lower than the unlimited hosting promised.

Again many of us early adopters would have accepted a realistic and fair compromise. But 20 hours? 20 hours for an entire account for life? Not 20 hours a month, but 20 hours total. That renders this account completely useless. I had hundreds of hours of work hosted on Berrycast because they told us we could.

So not only do they impose a 20-hour cap but they give us a b.s. amount of time to manually download all those videos. And where the heck are we going to put all of those videos? Now we have to find some reasonable host/storage on top of taking all of the time to manually download the videos.

This flagrant breach of trust is not only unethical but also a blatant disregard for customer loyalty and integrity. How dare Berrycast shamelessly backtrack on their initial offer, leaving paying customers stranded with a mere fraction of what was promised. This kind of dishonesty and lack of transparency is despicable and unforgivable.

To all potential buyers out there, beware of the deceitful practices of Berrycast. They lure you in with attractive deals only to pull the rug out from under you when it suits them. Avoid this company at all costs unless you enjoy being scammed and mistreated. Shame on you, Berrycast, for your reprehensible behavior!
