Card restricted on the very first day, with no clear solution from support
I had a very disappointing experience with BeriPay.
I ordered a card on October 15, 2026, intending to use it to pay for an online subscription. However, the payment failed due to a 3D Secure error. I also couldn't add the card to Apple Pay, so I was unable to use the service for its intended purpose.
Later that same day, BeriPay informed me that access to my card and its functionality had been restricted by their compliance department. They cited top-ups from third parties and attempted transactions involving ZEN.com as the reasons for the restriction.
To clarify, the funds were intended for a shared purchase of a subscription. I explained the situation to support and offered to provide bank statements, payment receipts, and any other documents needed to verify the source of funds.
My main concern is not that a financial service conducts compliance checks — I understand that such checks can be necessary. The problem is how this situation has been handled.
I specifically asked BeriPay to provide a secure verification link through an authorized provider because I am not comfortable sending sensitive financial documents through an ordinary chat without clear information about the security of the process. I also asked them to explain exactly which actions violated their terms and what I needed to do to resolve the issue.
As of October 16, I had received no meaningful follow-up or clear instructions on how to proceed, despite repeatedly contacting support. My funds remain on a restricted card, and I have been left without a practical solution.
A card that cannot be used for payments or added to Apple Pay, combined with unclear restrictions and unresponsive support, is not the experience I expected.
I hope BeriPay will address this situation, provide a secure verification process, clearly explain the restrictions, and tell me how I can regain access to my funds.
I would advise potential customers to carefully review the terms and restrictions before depositing money with this service.
