I have had many items from Ben Simpson, shelves with brackets and a lovely mantle for my lounge , plus I also bought my daughter her shelves too from here as they are just brilliant. Well made everytime , delivered so well packed NEVER been any damage . Easy to install everything. And most of all they look great. I would definitely recommend them to others , and have done. I will also buy more from here in the future. 5* definitely.

Customer service second to none!!

The ordering & delivery process was super easy - really appreciated the free delivery! The handmade shelves are beautiful and substantial, you can see the care and personal touch that has been taken making them. The pipe brackets are amazing and really finish off the shelves. Had them up on the wall the next day. Can't stop looking at them - love them ! The house may fall down, but those shelves will still be there 😆

Very nice shelves - well made & look great

Better than expected, brought 2 shelves, easy to install and look great in my newly decorated kitchin, quality item with that expensive look, wouldn't hesitate to buy more items from Ben Simpson Furniture, the lead time for delivery is that little bit longer while you wait for your order to be made, but it worth waiting those extra few days, you definitely won't be disappointed, looking forward to my next purchase, thank you Ben Simpson, these shelves with the pipe fitting brackets look absolutely wonderful in my kitchen.

Had my shelf up a few weeks now and vey pleased with it, and so is the wife so it must be good!
People who think these are pricey need to consider (and if they are a DIY fanatic like myself) that they won't get the wood and a quality finish like these from a DIY store.
Add in the solid brackets, fixing kit and pilot drill which is enclosed to fhe costs and it's not worth getting your sand paper out.
Going to get two more soon.

Been waiting a week for my table and benches. No notification from their courier as to arrival. I am out during the day so asked Ben Simpson to let me know date and time so I could arrange receipt. They didn't. Parcelforce then took the furniture to the local Post Office and expect me to collect it! I don't have a car big enough. This is a very expensive product. If the quality is poor like the service, it will be returned.

Fast forward 4 days and I had to rearrange my delivery....which didn't arrive but according to Parcel Force did! Ben et al are either on holiday or ignoring my emails. Either way, 3 weeks after my order, I still have nada 🤷

Ordered a floating shelf. First class service from start to delivery very well packed excellent simple instructions. Product is amazing quality and fits perfect. Will definitely be buying again.

Lovely made to order furniture! Very competitively priced, great communication from Nicole. I bought 4 floating shelves, not cheap, but the point was I didn’t want cheap, I wanted good quality, competitively priced furniture and that's exactly what I got! I liked my 4 shelves so much, I’ve ordered another as a radiator shelf!

I wanted a really good quality wood floating shelf (minus brackets) for my living room. I found Ben Simpson site and placed my order. It was £50 for the shelf, some may say for a piece of wood, but this shelf is worth every single penny. Even the workman who put it up for me today said it was fantastic quality. I absolutely love it. Thank you so much. Highly recommend this company and their customer service are great too. Any queries just phone or email them, they are very helpful. I spent £5 to get 8 block samples of colours of the wood to pick what went with my other wooden furniture prior to ordering the actual shelf which was so helpful.

purchased 4 shelves and every piece of wood was warped, bent and just not fit at all for shelves. around 220 GBP for 4 shelves that are warped..... 3 week waiting period too. Very interesting company. Avoid.

I'm glad I ignored the reviews by trolls.

Shelf is solid, caringly stained so that it brings out the natural grain and knots.

The team both customer services and workshop were really helpful.

We took delivery of bespoke shelving from Ben Simpson furniture ,we are very pleased with the excellent quality and finish,they look great.

Absolutely overpriced, poorly stained pine shelves - £120 for 2 shelves I could have made myself for a quarter of the price. I'm all for margins, but still. The fixings were too deep for my wall, and to send it back will cost me a further £43 (at my expense).

Now they are panicking at my true review, and want me to remove it, even going as far as lying to say they have tried to call me; the fact remains these guys deliver shoddy goods not worth the cash, and charge the earth the return it! The shelf has long since been on the bonfire, the money lost, but at least we toasted some nice marshmallows!

If this desk was any less assembled I would have been milling the wood and putting iron ore through a blast furnace.

You get sent some planks and a few bits of metal then it is on you to buy a drill, measure up, drill the pilot holes and put everything together. No warning that you would need a drill on the website and the irregularity of the wood makes it hard to get everything flush.

I ordered two shelves quite a while ago but have only just got them fitted. They look fantastic and my joiner was very impressed with the quality

I ordered three pieces of oak mantel to create a fire surround. I corresponded with them if the three pieces could have their edges rounded and the two standing mantels to be shortened to my measurements. Nothing was too much trouble. The order came within the week. On arrival the package was perfect in every way, the quality, colour as seen on their colour chart and the packing. We’re very happy. Their site about their origins a what they stand for in trying to be environmentally friendly and their tips/ suggestions on decor ideas is excellent.

I couldn’t believe the product wasn’t assembled considering the cost, and the wood is just essentially shelving that you have to build yourself. The self-assembly aspect is not clear at all when purchasing. Also the metal legs are way thicker / chunkier than they look on the website, definitely not good for smaller tables. I’m probably going to buy new legs which are not as chunky so will end up paying an absolutely fortune essentially for a flat-packed product.
Don’t waste your money - buy the wood and legs yourself which you could get for a fraction of the price.

Fast delivery, easy to follow instructions and just a gorgeous dining table we are super satisfied with.
