Moving to this company as of Sept, not happy
I haven't used this company yet, however since our current CEO is in Quebec, he has been moving everything he can to Quebec based companies despite our company being Canada wide (and having been started in BC), even if they are more expensive. That being said, I reviewed our whole two options, they're not great AND they are trying to "encourage" the users to access Telus Health. By encourage I mean they will cover 100% of prescriptions IF you use Telus, 80% if you go anywhere else. They are trying to monopolize health care! I've used Telus Health, they're horrible, but now I'll be penalized for not using their crappy service.

Worse than worse
I was with SSQ and La Capitale. Pretty happy before, responsive people with excellent customer service in mind on both end. Since the merge that was supposed to leverage the experience, it went from the first class experience to the end of ... I wouldn't know how to describe it... So let's keep it with simple with my own experience :
First call (waiting time 45 minutes) : Review a new quotation to extend the current home insurance and look for bundle a car insurance for an upcoming purchase, never claimed for home, 1 claim not responsible for car in the last 6 years. Home insurance went 300% up ???? Car went up by 50%
2nd Call (Waiting time 56 minutes) : I wanted to review some aspect of the quotation since the price was quite inaccurate or I would say way off from my current one, after 56 minutes of waiting I didn't got any answer. I hang up.
3rd call (Waiting time 1h04) : No answer. I hang up.
I don't know what to think about Beneva now. Even with my current contract, I can't get any agent to revise the number and see if they have all by info properly recorded and up to date since the merge.
When I read from their webpage that they are "currently receiving a high volume of calls regarding home, car and recreational vehicle insurance", I see that as :
1- understaffed
2- unorganized
3- unresponsive to address the situation
On top of that, no dedicated people having customer service in mind.
Sorry to say Beneva, I'm leaving

Been with this company more than 10 years and never made a claim , but my rate went up 2 years in a row.
Driving a 2009 Tacoma and i'm 65 years old, called 3 other companies all hundreds cheaper.

They bump up my insurance price 1600$…
They bump up my insurance price 1600$ more than last year and I have no reclamation.. At the moment I’m writing this review, I’ve been waiting over 1:15h and still haven’t talked to anybody.
It is the worst possible experience I’ve ever had!
