Nice family home

We were a family of seven including children. Sleeping arrangements were good. Kitchen well equipped. Neighborhood is quiet and enjoyable to walk. Had a few toys available which was appreciated by the kids. Know that the main floor bathroom only has a toilet no sink so we used the closest one in the kitchen a bit odd but manageable.

The accommodations were beautiful and…

The accommodations were beautiful and comfortable, the company was very communicative and helpful, the apartment was spacious and well appointed pot, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
The elevator was out of service, however, but fortunately we were able to use the stairs and didn’t have any mobility issues in our group

Great House

The check-in instructions were clear and concise, and the responses were prompt. The house was lovely, and the location was excellent, making it convenient to get to all the attractions. We were very satisfied.

Great place to stay in Montmarche

We loved our stay at 8 Rue Chappe in Montmarche. The location was exceptional. We were able to easily access the Metro from 3 stations. We were close to restaurants and shops but just enough out of the way to be more quiet. The apartment is small but lovely and had everything we needed. The shower was hot and there was plenty of water. We loved that it was on the first floor so we did not have to climb extra steps after long days of walking around Paris. There was some noise from the apartment building in the evenings as we could hear whenever anyone was walking up or down the building steps but it was minimal and did not keep us up at night. The water in the shower does get all over the bathroom floor but with all the extra towels that were provided, we managed well. We loved the extra touches of biscuits and coffee pods and used the nespresso every morning. The apartment was very clean!!!

Recommended - accurate description

Great communication from Belvilla with contact and assistance details provided should the need arise. The description of the property was very accurate. Will use this company again in the future when considering rental properties.

Avoid by all means necessary

I’m a previous customer, rebooking previous accommodation. I booked it 7 months ago, and we’re now less than 6 weeks before the booking (and all paid).

I had to contact Belvilla to find out that my booking had been cancelled due to the holiday park declaring bankruptcy (‘operational reasons’ as they told me). After searching, I’d found that the holiday park declared bankruptcy 6 months ago - just after my booking, but before my final payments were made.

Since then, Belvilla have confirmed that my booking is fine on multiple occasions (following a data breach leaking my personal and booking details). They didn’t relay any cancellation concerns - and I only found out because I contacted them due to not being able to contact the park! They lied to me saying they were only just made aware, but this must have been impossible.

What would have happened if I’d have turned up to my non-existent holiday park? Thankfully I was vigilant, and had a bad gut feeling following their breach.

I’ve lost all faith, and would avoid like the plague.

Made reservation via Booking.com but…

Made reservation via Booking.com but miss the info that it is by Belvilla by Oyo - not the real owner. When we arrived on premise - the real owner told us that they not cooerated with Booking for more than two years and they have no accomadation for us. Support fro Belvill - ZERo - asking for refund - no respond

Edit: More info - it is writen on first hand experience, it was on Easters weekend, Croatia, Korčula island, town Lumbarda, Holiday Home Kata, booking for group of 5 people, location was correct, buildings was the same as on pictures on booking site

The instructions were very clear and…

The instructions were very clear and accurate. However communication with the host was not an option, our plane landed an hour and a half earlier than expected and we tried to communicate with the host to see if we could get in earlier but received no response. So ended up waiting on the curve as the key lock is programmed for the exact time that the instructions state.

A very enjoyable Easter stay

A very cosy accommodation set in a converted 19th century barn. The décor is very traditional but we liked that, and its set in very quiet, peaceful surroundings. Our daughter (11) enjoyed helping out feeding the goats, donkeys, chickens and geese, and the hosts (who live on site) are friendly but never intrusive. A great week had by us all.
