No way is this grandma's recipe! To chemically tasting! Like the original fruitcake I purchased, I kept trying to like it and would have a bit here and there, and each time, I was disappointed in the flavor. Also, the texture is too dense and crumbles! The loaf was small especially for the cost! I purchased one from a family member and told them to just throw it away! I was embarrassed to have given her the loaf! The topping was the best part of the loaf.

My son really enjoyed this coffee cake. Ate it for breakfast and dessert! He doesn’t eat fruitcake, but that’s his loss!

Another absolutely horrible offering by Beatrice bakery. If you have to put in artificial flavors, you shouldn’t sell it.

I'm used to the fruit cake, having had it a number of times, so I thought I would branch out and try the other products. The Pumpkin Streusel Coffee Cake Bar just didn't do it for me. The flavor was off, and didn't go well with my coffee (dark roast). I will be trying the Banana Nut Bread Bar soon and hope for a better outcome.
