The following is a copy of the email I sent to the chief technical officer of BC vault Mr. Alen Salamun sent June 4/24. As of this date I have had no response. This follows countless conversations with the support staff ticket #36741#36242#36074 etc.
The purpose of this email is related to an issue of a faulty BC- vault that as the CTO I know you would want to know about.

In 2020 after taking a year long course on cryptocurrency I was watching Crypto Casey and based on her recommendation and your incredible security measures I purchased a BC vault.

Also on her recommendations I followed her safety measures for setting up storage device, the most important being putting into two separate paper notebooks PW and Pins.

After following your videos as per your suggestion with all the other security measures I elected not to have PW and pin for my wallets. The absence of passwords and pins for my wallet I put in both paper notebooks

As my intent was just to save and not trade I put about $20,000 (all my savings) From 2020 to 2023. Last year I decided to send some crypto and immediately realized there was something wrong with my device.

I have also realized a new device will not correct this as the faulty pins for the wallet on the device keep producing the wrong info so I can’t transfer.
Also to try to restore would produce the same results
i have the videos documenting this. you even acknowledge a faulty direction pad on my device is possible with ticket# 3604(2024-02-18) . As I purchased this device in 2020 Early in its adoption here in North America , I have wondered if the wallet pin could have been incorrectly manufactured? the pins involved with the confirm button are faulty. sometimes you can just hit the confirm button and get incorrect password and pin, sometimes you have to hit the right arrow first then confirm button. lately you need to hit the left arrow then confirm to get the wrong PW and Pin entered

I have been speaking endlessly with your support dept. and they keep saying I have used the incorrect Pw and pins which is impossible because of my methods to document them

But I also started to realize that they know with faulty device pins producing incorrect info ( they feel nothing is going to fix this) and have put the blame squarely on my self.

I know you don’t want a very poor review on trust pilot.ca and also Crypto Casey with her 500,000 followers. She still recommends your device on her you tube channel. I do not want to do this but as you can see from my review with BC vault refusing to work with me and rectify this situation I have no choice. These are my life savings, my family is depending on me

Amazing customer support! I had a problem with sending some coins and I got instant support during the weekend! We resolved everything.

Quick turnaround to get the vault.
Took a while to charge, but fairly easy to figure out once it was ready and charged. I used the help feature and had read some of the reviews ahead, which was a good use of time while waiting.

Much easier to use for newer types of crypto. Easy to transfer coins in and out.

I reinstalled the SD card improperly and was unable to remove it. Customer service worked with me to try to solve the problem but I was unable to fix it. They exchanged my BC vault for a new one and paid the shipping. They could have easily blamed the issue on me and I'm grateful that they chose not to. If I could give them six stars I would! I have several cold wallets and this is by far my favorite.👍

Truly an invaluable tool to have. Remember not your keys not your crypto - BC Vault, literally hands you those keys to forge yourself.

The worst experience I ever had on buying online. I ordered in November 2023, I still don’t have yet (May 2024). The shipment not yet arrived and is already back to your factory. Invesing millions of dollars on the product that can’t be shipped is outrageous. You lose one of the biggest group of potential buyers, they were waiting my experience before buying, I didn’t received my product lol. After 3 months you told me that the factory stoped delivering one model, I said ok no problem let’s change it. Now 6 months didn’t receive anything shame.

For readers, I didn’t receive yet the product, even if this product is the best (I still believe is very good even not yet received) but my review here is about the service and shipping… that should change if you as company want to make the difference in the market. We still early in this industry…

Best security, super easy to set up and use

Like to feel that your crypto is safe and secure.

Great hardware wallet, simple and safe. It arrived quickly in the US just a couple days after shipping. I used Cyber Scrilla YouTube link and got some micro SD cards. Only thing I didn't get was my free BC Vault t-shirt from using the link which was a slight disappointment since I was hoping to represent a great company and device with some gear. Size XL of you're reading this lol.

From start to end, a very good journey in acquiring and setting up the vault.

Very good level of security, easy to transfer funds from different exchanges and simple to use. Good for anyone wanting peace of mind that their crypto is safe.
My keys, my crypto…

I submitted a ticket because some of my crypto is trapped in my BC Vault after a software/firmware update. I'm unable to transfer it out of the wallet. I created a ticket and after a week the Support Team said it "should" be fixed and closed the ticket. It is NOT fixed and my crypto is still stuck on the wallet. This issue has cost me money and confidence in BC Vault. After receiving the log data that they requested, the responses became slow and vague and the fix didn't work. I still can't move the coin and don't know how this is going to get resolved.

Ordered two devices (ordinary and gunmetal), gunmetal device arrived with production flaw. Filed a support ticket and a new device was shipped to me next day. Old one was picked up by a DHL courier. All process was fast and smooth.
Replacement device arrived in a box sealed in plastic with security label on device usb port only although first two devices arrived with security seals on devices usb ports and on the boxes. Support assured that it's OK for the box to be sealed in plastic only, that main and most important seal is on the device usb port.
Overall experience is positive, but it looks like production quality control and packing are spots for improvement.
Devices work as advertised. Good build quality.

Fast and a an awesome product.

I am new to crypto and wanted something for long term storage. Have set up the vault, but have not made any purchases yet.

Customer service to answer questions, issues and consumer incompetence has been fantastic. Issues resolved by BC Vault csr's were of my doing and immediately resolved with an explanation and instructions. They have saved my bucket many times. Highly recommend this product.
