Confusion, delay, and extra costs.

I chose Baxter Freight over a cheaper alternative on a recommendation from our 3PL. I assumed their higher fee would mean expertise and peace of mind. Instead, my first US shipment has been beset with problems that any competent forwarder should have anticipated. For a first-time import into the US, it is standard knowledge that the shipment will need EIN validation, a Power of Attorney, supporting incorporation documents, and a clear bond strategy. None of this was flagged before departure – the first I heard of it was after my goods were stuck in clearance in Cincinnati.

What followed was days of chasing DHL directly, speaking to senior clearance managers myself, filling out POA paperwork, dealing with IRS hold-ups, and being told by Baxter that they “couldn’t intervene.” DHL eventually confirmed the freight could be cleared but only with a customs bond adding confusion, delay, and extra costs.

For a forwarder charging a premium, I expected them to take responsibility, anticipate requirements, and guide me through the process – not leave me firefighting with DHL. My experience has been stressful, time-consuming, and costly. If you are considering Baxter Freight for US imports, I would urge you to ask exactly what support they will provide, because in my case I ended up doing their job for them.

I recently used Baxter Freight for the transportation of goods for my business, and I can't say enough good things about the experience. From the moment I first contacted them, their level of service and communication was outstanding, especially Emphany. They were always available to answer any questions I had and provided regular updates on the status of my shipment. Not only was their customer service top-notch, but their prices were also very competitive. I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable their services were compared to other freight companies I had researched.

Most importantly, Baxter Freight delivered the goods on time and in perfect condition. I didn't have to worry about any damages or lost items, which is a huge relief when dealing with valuable merchandise. Their attention to detail and care for their client's cargo was truly impressive.

Overall, I can highly recommend Baxter Freight for anyone in need of reliable and professional freight services. Their dedication to providing excellent customer service, competitive prices, and timely delivery of goods sets them apart from the competition. I will definitely be using their services for all my future transportation needs.

Poor service

Poor service. Customer service is dreadful even the director said the administration was not good. Damaged goods, mis quoted and refuse all liability as they are just an agent. Not good at all
