Scamming their customers

I purchased a harmonica from Bax UK online around two weeks ago. I was advised delivery time was 3 business days. I had not received a tracking number after 5 days and contacted them, they eventually provided it after numerous asks. Yesterday, I received a large box via Royal Mail, opened it and inside was a dirty/used two-prong adapter… no harmonica! I. Contacted their CS team only to be told they’d send the correct item and I’d receive it Friday or Saturday. I asked them to ensure they expedited it as it was a birthday gift for a friend, they replied, no we can’t expedite it, as that is not standard procedure! I’d think sending a plug instead of an instrument is not standard either! I then receive an email stating the item has been on back order and they do not have a future restock date from the supplier… however, they advised on the phone that it was definitely in stock! They are now completely ignoring my request for a refund. Do not purchase from this shop as it very much appears that they are scamming customers by sending used useless items in place of the item they ordered, possibly to delay process or scam them. I have reported them to the UKICC and will not be leaving this.

First purchase from Bax and probably the last, This company is based in the Netherlands not the UK as is the implication of having a Kent address.
So the shipping is a nightmare you need to disclose your not a uk company.

Bax are fraudulent

This company is a scammer. They keep changing the dates of delivery. Ordered a month in time for Christmas and then said my order would be delayed for two weeks until week 50, then week 51 in 2024, then until week 52 in 2024. Today another email, week 21 in 2025 so I would have to wait until May. They are ignoring my communications and when you ring their answer machine service, it requests you to leave a message and then tells you that you are disconnected - because they recognise your number.

The other Trustpilot good reviews must be fake. I am contacting the fraud department at my bank as they have taken £550.

THEY ARE SCAMMERS!

i bought an electric guitar for my 13th birthday. it said it would arrive in three weeks. but my birthday was tomorrow so my dad paid EXTRA so they would arrive the second day. we also bought accesorys for the guitar. the next day we get the package only to find the accesorys. no guitar. So money wasted on paying extra AND my birthday got ruined! (im sorry for my bad english)

Still waiting for my refund after 3 months...

I bought an electric piano but the product never arrived on the day it was supposed to. I had call them a few times, only to find out that they don't have it in stock.
I cancelled my order and I received confirmation that the money will be refunded. it's been 3+ months, they still owe me money. Never use this company. It's a scam. I have already filed a claims report. I will also contact my credit card company.

After a Black Friday nightmare years ago I swore I'd never use them again. What a fool I am!

This company is based in the Netherlands not the UK as is the implication of having a Kent address on their invoice and when you call up they really don't appear to give a fig about the customer! Their website advertises a delivery date and then you get to the delivery day (having taken time off work) and....nothing arrives! The tracking has not even moved! They even attempt to blame the courier for THEIR incompetence. No apology! Avoid like COVID 19!

It's easier to order off Amazon who are brilliant on the whole.

Deceptive practices

Deceptive practices. Steer clear

The company tells you the product is in stock, and provides a delivery date. But a day after the due delivery, still nothing has arrived? Checking the tracking link, the delivery company hasn't even received it yet. I think they're coming from Netherlands even though the company shows offices in the UK.

Contacting customer support to ask for a refund has resulting in zero communication. I now have to contact my credit card company to refund me and open a dispute. I ordered from another company and got delivery next day.

Avoid this company if you don't want to be ripped off!

I ordered a DJ booth and flight bag, for it, from Bax.

The items arrived but the booth was damaged and totally unusable. I called Bax and was advised that I could return it.

They also advised that they had no more of them in stock but that I should order a new one (which meant paying another £450), so that they could order another one for me.

Obviously, I wasn't happy to pay another £450 to a company that had sent out a booth that was unusable, so I asked if I could wait until I received my refund, before paying for the new one. I was told "yes."

They also advised that I should keep hold of the flight bag, so that I just had to have the booth sent out, when it arrived.

Well, I finally received my refund many weeks later and called Bax today to see if the booth is in stock. They say it's not in stock and they have no date for it coming back in, from their supplier.

I asked if I could return the flight bag but, since it's taken them so long to do the refund, I've gone over the 30 day maximum time. So, now I've got a £120 flight bag that's useless to me.

They could easily let me return it - it's not even come out of the box - but the guy I spoke to on the phone said their policy won't allow it.

So, I've learned an expensive lesson in ordering from EU-based online companies.

Awful customer service

Trying to return an item and find out it has to go back to Holland. Staff constantly lie about what is happening with refund. Don't use, its the last time I will.

Avoid this company

Doesn't look like I am going to cause more harm than what this company is causing itself, and the bad comments here are talking for themselves. The kind of indifference they have towards customers is unique, very cold customer service people who really give you a very hollow feeling; robotic responses.
They couldn't even tell me that my shipment is going to be delayed, despite knowing this beforehand, they waited until I contacted them late on the delivery day that I took off my holidays to receive the delivery, and in a very casual way they gave a hollow apology, that felt like "tough... we don't care about you guys".

Bax music excellent service

Order 2 qsc cp 8 speaker as mine speaker went for repairs they were £94 cheaper order on Tuesday received on Thursday thanks Uk plug cannot fault it people @ bax are extremely friend Fiona Pedro all god bless and thanks for helping me with extremely well Custmer service

Unbelievable

Unbelievable. After trying to get this speaker since October. 2 other companies that said to have it in stock emailed to postpone. The 1st was a dreadful experience trying to get hold of them, then eventually having to demand a refund via PayPal and my bank. I looked again for this and Baxmusic came up for the 1st time with 2 in stock. Never seen baxmusic before on a search but not only that it was cheaper than any other company, then with an added 7% discount. Crazy.... order before 10pm get Tuesday morning....and so they did.

Over a week ago I placed an order with Bax Music for some Sennheiser headphones that were showing as in stock. Delivery should have been made a week last Thursday.

I received correspondence from Hermes on Thursday stating an attempted delivery was made that evening. It was not - 3 adults were home and our doorbell is exceedingly loud!

I received additional information via the Hermes' app to say a redelivery would be attempted the next business day. It was not. Nor the next ... nor any time since.

Attempting to contact Hermes was, as usual, utterly fruitless: they are the very worst example of a logistics company and their customer service is a misnomer as it does not exist. Even their drivers cannot escalate an issue on their customer's behalf.

The Hermes website said to contact the retailer directly.

Bax Music have (so far) failed to respond to 3 eMails and have not once answered any one of 5 phone calls, where I've been placed on hold for >15 minutes each time.

There are hundreds of recent complaints about Bax Music on TrustPilot and elsewhere, including a dedicated Facebook page concerning complaints about this company.

PLEASE AVOID

PLEASE AVOID - read the other reviews to see just how many people are having bad experiences. This is not a Uk company they just have a POBOX and they are not sending all orders, it’s pot luck if you will get it and they are blaming Hermes. THEY are at fault, never dealt with a company like it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Telecaster copy, update

Just bought the Telecaster copy, no complaints, for the price, it's surprisingly good. Change the strings though, it makes all the difference. The order arrived 10 days BEFORE the delivery date...just 2 days after placing the order! For a budget priced copy, i cant fault it, the finish is good, it plays well, nicely set up out of the box..and its sounds sweet. I have been looking for a good, used Gibson SG copy when i see Bax has a brand new one for £93. Search over, i ordered one, unfortunately, "wonderful" Hermes recieved the package, then returned to sender??? Contacted Bax, as ordered through Amazon, only option was refund. Customer care guy Alessio said if i re order, they can arrange another (parcel force) courier for me. Communication is fast and efficient, very helpful. I see there are some bad reviews here but i can say that i wouldnt hesitate to buy from Bax again.

UPDATE, re Gibson SG, recieved email from Bax 5 days ago saying refund issued, will take 5=7 days. This morning, got email from Amazon, where order was places, saying, refund issued, will take 5-7 days. Contacted Amazon, they are making the refund direct. Amazon are now investigating Bax. So, it appears that i was just lucky to receive the first order. Sure WONT buy from bax again.

This is the worst musical…

This is the worst musical instrument/audio equipment shop I have ever dealt with in 35 years as a musician/producer/audio engineer. Their customer service is virtually non existent. The order I placed was 2 weeks late. I had to send it back for a refund and then had to wait a month for it to be processed. It took me 18 phone calls to Bax Music to get it sorted. The refund wasn't agreed until I threatened legal action. They screen calls to make sure that they do not have to speak to you right away, they do you off with a "receptionist who can't deal with any enquiries" who then promises call backs. I wish I had read the trust pilot reviews. AVOID BUYING FROM THEM AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn’t even give 1 Star but had too.
please see this a take warning look at the many many rubbish reviews they are all correct.

Facts are all true
This company is not UK and a con, nowhere at all does it mention they are some corrupt Nethlands outfit.

1 It will be late turning up if at all. Customer service is useless trying to chase
2 if it does turn up it’s broken box destroyed bits missing or seconds not new!
3 Now worst bit trying to get hold of the customers service is worst ever, they dont care. You have to contact a uk number who cannot make a decision about nothing and make excuses they have to email Netherlands’s for a response.
4 if you get a returns label omg you have to you a company called Mondial Relay. Takes 2 weeks to return you would be better sending it yourself. They have no tracking it’s a disgrace.
5 refunds what are they... good luck with that no chance
6, 3 years warranty good luck you have no chance of a repair See other reviews
7 120 days money back loooool it will take 120 days from day you get it for them to take ownerships they have it back

Worst experience of my life and aged me this process
Wish I’d seen the reviews before buying and it tried to save a few quid
