8 months of using the controller, mouse click broken

After 8 months of using the controller, the R1 trigger no longer responded. This famous “mouse-click” technology doesn't work when I hold down the button. Which is very annoying for Call of Duty.
The only response I got from the service department was that the product was no longer under warranty, and all costs would have to be support by the customer. We are talking about 100 dollars for ship and repair.

Disappointed by Poor Quality and Unacceptable Customer Service

I purchased a controller for €360 from Battle Beaver and was shocked by the poor quality of the product. The front and back don’t fit together properly, there’s a creaking noise, and it feels like a screw is missing. When I contacted customer service, they told me this was “within the range of acceptance” and not a reason for a return. This is absolutely unacceptable for the price.

To make matters worse, I’m expected to pay €50 for return shipping to New York, despite receiving a clearly defective product. I’ve bought several controllers from Battle Beaver before, and almost all of them had to be sent back for repairs after some time. But being asked to accept a defective product right from the start is a new low. For this price, I should be able to expect quality. I’m very disappointed and cannot recommend this store.

A number or issues...

In short: their thumbsticks last less than a year, they have purposely made it extremely difficult to replace the non-interchangeable thumbsticks on their custom controllers, and when you buy new thumbsticks, you might receive thumbsticks that don't fit the controller properly due to poor quality control.

I have original PS3 controllers that I used until 2023 that hadn't even started to show wear on the thumbsticks. The thumbsticks on my original PS4 controller never wore out either. But the thumbsticks that came with my custom Battle Beaver controller lasted less than a year.

When you open your Battle Beaver controller to replace the thumbsticks, Battle Beaver has fastened the internals in such a way that it's extremely difficult to take them apart, with no visible way of doing it, as if they've been glued down, which is completely unnecessary.
I've modified several DualShock 4 controllers, and the internals always pop out once you've detached the wires and unscrewed the screws. The internals in the custom Battle Beaver controller will forever be as loose as the stock controller once you've managed to pry the Battle Beaver controller open, so why fasten them down so damn hard in the first place? Battle Beaver stated on their website that customers could replace the sticks by themselves. Thanks to their unnecessary practices, I ruined my custom controller; one of the face buttons stopped registering presses.

The last time I bought new thumbsticks from Battle Beaver, one of the sticks was too big for the controller shell and would get stuck, so I asked for a replacement, but Battle Beaver issued a refund instead, so I ended up with a useless pair of thumbsticks that I paid customs duties for.

I got my controller on 28th of November…

I got my controller on 28th of November thought it was just my game not running correctly but it’s not! Left analog is sticking after only 8 weeks of having the controller.

I’m a returning customer of 3 previous controllers just because I like how small the rear bumper are. Explains this on an email and never got a response

They want me to pay for shipping and repairs on this controller which is a joke from BB.

Do Not Buy - Disappointed Customer

Bought a custom Xbox controller, left stick goes out after 3 months of play time. Sent controller back to them for repair which I had to pay for as their warranty is 60 days (At this time, could've changed by now). Received repaired controller only for a week later my left bumper stopped working. Their products are cheap quality that doesn't last. I wouldn't recommend buying anything from them. There's a reason they send pro players 3-4 controllers at a time, because their products don't last and the pro player will need 3-4 controllers to make it through the year

Money pit with terrible customer service

I bought a PS5 controller from them. Wildly expensive for just adding switches to the D-pad. I had to get it repaired after one of the buttons broke after 3 months (I did drop it to be fair, but I didn't throw it or anything, it just fell off my chair). I've sunk over $450 into this controller that had a very small modification. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Especially if in Canada.

I bought a controller on september 2023…

I bought a controller on september 2023 with which i was very happy untill recently.

The back button stopped functioning well and i reached out to Battle Beaver to get it fixed. I had to pay repair costs and shipping fee which would add up to ~€70 for a €110 controller.

Very unfortunate to have to pay such costs for a controller which isn't even half a year old.

I tried to get a battlebeaver…

I tried to get a battlebeaver controller and ordered from Canada, You pay your controller 250$, you pay 30$ for shipping, and wait a month.

I then get a message saying my purchase couldn't get delivered because an outstanding charge of 61$ is needed to be payed for.

That's VERY EXPENSIVE for a "quick pick" controller (350$) with all charges and fees included, and of course, they don't tell you this until you have to pay to receive your controller. And after you've already payed 250$.

Last thing, if you want a refund, they will deduct a lot of money for the controller, and will deduce money for delivery, youll get about 60$ for a 300$ order.

This company's customers service and…

This company's customers service and return policy are absolutely terrible. I returned my fully functional device because I simply was not satisfied with the product. They refunded me 60 dollars less than what I paid for the controller. The buttons placed awkwardly on the back. I would never recommend this company to anyone EVER.

I bought two battle beaver controller…

I bought two battle beaver controller for my ps5 & both of my controllers didn’t last for a year. The first controller I got one of the back buttons started not working & so I bought another one. My second one only lasted 2 months & the face button sometimes doesn’t work. My trigger buttons gets stuck & I got the mouse triggers. I really liked battle beaver because you can change the locations on the back buttons. Not all controller company’s have that. But now I have to search for another company that allows you to change the locations on your back button. I really hope battle beaver hires guy that actually know how to build these controller or at least take their time on building these controllers because these controllers are not cheap. But I was also shocked that battle beaver had 2.5 stars if I saw this earlier I would’ve never bought from this company.

Controller not functionnal

My scuf was reaching the end of its life, and despite the fact that I really liked this controller I wanted to try Battle Beaver, so I ordered a controller for 200 dollars which had to be sent in 3 weeks maximum, in the end it ended up It took almost 2 months, the customer service was very unresponsive and hardly responded, okay, still all this is just a detail if at least the final product was functional! I received a controller with the "mouse click" option and the right trigger is just super hard, often I find myself in a situation where if I don't force with my finger the controller simply doesn't fire it's just horrible (the left trigger works very well) it's really a shame knowing that I live on the other side of the world and sending it back would take months, I'm disgusted.
I will end up saying that the finishes of the controller are not beautiful at all.

Terrible

Ordered a quick pick controller with a build time of 3-5 business days. Cancelled order as order couldn't be sent for delivery after 15 business days. Terrible company which didn't communicate delay. Incompetent customer service. Stay clear of this company.

I've bought 2 controllers (ps5 and ps4)…

I've bought 2 controllers (ps5 and ps4) from BB and both broke within a few weeks of use. I had the 30day warranty on one and the extended 120day warranty on the other. both had stick drift after about a month. Ps4 had a rear button and face button stop working all together and the Ps5 L2 smart trigger couldn't actuate. I had gently used the Ps5 controller over the first 2 months and finally sent it in to get fixed. The worst part of the whole experience was that in the 6 WEEKS it took to have the ps5 controller fixed the warranty was still being counted so when I got the controller back and the issue persisted after a little more than a week of play. I tried to get a full replacement and was denied because the 120day were up. Complete BS just bend me over next time you want to F me BBC.
