Basilur tea - a delight for the senses
In the past had difficulty finding Basilur tea in Canada so decided to order directly from their website. My experience was absolutely delightful. My order arrived in good time, was well packaged and included some samples, gift bag and even a bonus Basilur mug. As always, the Basilur tea tins are absolutely gorgeous and will be kept long after their contents have been enjoyed. Have not, of course, had an opportunity to savour all the tea I purchased but my experience to date has been superb.

Simply the Best!
This is quite possibly the best Ceylon tea I’ve ever had the pleasure to enjoy.
I was initially disappointed in being charged unexpected extra customs import fees for my delivery in addition to the shipping and handling fees I was charged when I placed my order. But the delivery service and the product itself were well worth the cost.
The packaging and container are beautiful. The tea comes in a lovely resealable bag with a description about the country of Sri Lanka and the area where the tea is produced. This is contained within a distinctively shaped green and gold coloured tin. It would make a lovely gift.
The tea is a mild, soft and delightful Ceylon with an earthy aroma and absolutely no bitterness. I steeped it for 3 minutes and enjoyed it with a bit of honey. Just perfect!
The order also included two free samples of English Breakfast and Sencha teas. I can’t wait to try them!
Thank you Basilur! I will definitely be ordering more in the future!
