I have never received my shoes that I paid for.

Terrible customer service. Order is 50 days out of SLA and counting.

I haven't received a word of communication regarding my order which I ordered two weeks ago. I haven't gotten any Reponses back from the brand

I ordered shoes in December 2025 at a total cost of R1,798. Unfortunately, the wrong sizes were delivered. I then had to pay an additional R200 to return the items.

I received confirmation that my return was received on 21 January 2026, but since then there has been no communication at all and no response to any of my emails.

At this point, I’m left wondering if the company is still operating. This is especially disappointing, as these are the only shoes I wear.

The order was placed and confirmed on 29 March 2026, but there has been no delivery yet as of 17 April 2026.

No shoes received yet. No reply on follow up messages about status of my order.

I've ordered a number SA4, I've received an SA3, after I've ordered I saw that the invoice said SA3, I've send 2 emails to inform you that I've ordered a SA4 andno answer, when I've received it yesterday I saw it was a SA3 and send another email, still waiting for an answer, solet me no what is your problem?

The product is of excellent quality with a really wide toe space. The delivery was unexpectedly quick.

I bought the shoes for my Nees. She has MS. She said the shoes is a bit tight on top. She wears it with socks. Because it's so expensive we will look for a chipper brand. That can help her

Barestep shoes are pretty solid, especially the latest releases are very well made and super comfortable. I have 2 pairs and my wife now has a pair. You have to give Barefoot style shoes at least 1-2 days to get used to them, when you first put them on it takes your feet time to adjust to them so be patient, you may even experience slight pain/soreness initially... However, your feet will adjust to them over 2-5 days of usage. Then once your foot muscles adjust you will like them, I assure you.... I use them for around the house, casual walks outside around my home, and quick trips to the store. I love the newer releases, most recent the mid top pair with the fleece lining is perfect for colder weather. I know they'd hold up good for longer walks or pretty much wherever I'd want to go, but I prefer these for comfortable everyday usage around the house because I prefer these over slippers or flip flops. Also since we work from home and are running and cleaning up after our baby daughter on a daily basis.

I absolutely love Barestep shoes. They are incredibly comfortable and perfect for daily walks. I also appreciate that they are designed in line with current podiatry guidelines, which makes them a great choice for foot health.

The only downside is that they are not waterproof. I recently wore them in the rain, and my feet were soaked almost immediately.

Overall, they are excellent for dry conditions, but better suited for fair weather.

These shoes are fantastic. Extremely well made, durable and comfortable. My go too shoes from now on

I have no idea how the ratings on this platform is so good when my experience & other experiences on other platforms are extremely poo.

I purchased a pair of Barestep shoes for my husband in September 2025 for his birthday. He absolutely loved them & they really helped with the pain in his feet. However, barely 3 months later these shoes had holes in the bottom & in the fabric. They advertise these shoes as orthopedic shoes & even for running etc. & he had never even run in them, used them purely for walking. I emailed them beginning of January regarding this & they initially responded, however I have had no response from them at all since then & I have emailed them several times since. They have basically just gone quiet & ignored me, which is highly disappointing since my husband actually liked the shoes & it was a birthday present.. Unfortunately their shoes don't last longer than 3months in my case with very little wear on them & their customer service is extremely poor. I would NOT recommend these shoes for that reason.

Requested a return weeks ago but have still not heard back. Absolutely no communication from Barestep whatsoever.

I ordered according to the size chart, 26,5cm which is accordingly a 42, but it seems a number too big.

Very poor customer experience.
I received a confirmation that my order would be shipped soon, yet weeks have passed with no updates, no tracking information, and no response to any of my enquiries. The lack of communication is unacceptable, especially for a service advertised as fast and reliable. This experience has left me frustrated and uncertain, and I cannot recommend them based on this interaction.

The shoes are excellent and the Customer Service far exceeds any expectations. I will continue to purchase shoes from this company.
