Anytime there is a sitewide sale (say 35% or 50% for everything with a minimum purchase), the block tower system is sold out. Miraculously, when the sale ends, the block tower is no longer sold out after a few days. I've asked the company to honor the sale and ship it when it is in stock, but they simply say it is not part of the sale because it is sold out. I've tracked the block tower system and these sales multiple times and it is always the same. The company should be more transparent and simply say these products are not part of the sale but they would rather not be transparent. Clearly, the block tower system is not sold out when these sales happen if they just happen to be back in stock after the sale. Shady.

0 Stars. My Barebones flatware set ended up having a fork that obviously wasn’t quality controlled. It had a metal splinter sticking out of it & I basically almost hooked myself like a fish. When I brought it to their attention, all they initially tried to do was replace the flatware & after some email exchange, they expected me to give them my phone number so the person, who’s name is Tarja Dye, was dealing with me, “didn’t have to keep sending emails back & forth” - the person basically didn’t want to do their job & was being nonchalant about the whole thing when I literally had blood coming from my mouth for over an hour. They then wanted proof of Doctor bills, however, they failed to ask if I had a Physician…we literally just moved from out of state & had only been in town for a week. Had they actually cared to tend to this problem as I, a person who loved Barebones & was a frequent customer, would have informed them but they clearly don’t care. I am telling everyone I know & posting the photos that I have on every media I can. Don’t buy Barebones, their quality control isn’t worth the blood.
The flashlight and lanters I do like.
But I tell everybody NOT to buy them.
They have very rare strange 18650 battery inside.
And not even in higher capacity. (i.e. 3500mah)
I suppose they do this to earn also from selling these batteries. What a sadness.

Bought a 2 blade whittling knife for my son's birthday. They shipped quickly and product looked nice. After taking it out of the packet it feels good quality, and notably it shipped razor sharp. I was expecting it was probably be reasonably sharp but that I would have to sharpen it to get it really sharp for use, but it was really sharp out of the box which is always impressive.

Bought the Nata for $109 and the thing had it's tip bend off and the handle come loose in the first day.
Loved the look but not worth the money.
Did eventually get a refund but only after saying I would make a claim via PayPal.
While the stuff may look nice the overall product and service is sub par, go somewhere else

Cool website, some really nice things, well thought out, and delivered to your door. Some seem a bit overpriced, but I bought at 20% off for Christmas and was super happy with both items. I purchased the 29" Firepit...better made than the big box version I could have purchased. Still made in China, but for the extra 30$ I feel like it's thick enough to last a good couple years longer....and the Pulaski Axe...just a beautiful tool. Full steel rod core, and a nice axe/pick combo. Right sized to end up being with you when you need it. It will never leave my truck...Also priced well, with a discount....I skipped the $25 bandana...as nice as I am sure it is...might go back for some camping lanterns..
