A fun experience customizing espadrilles in Barcelona! Estefania was helpful, friendly, and made two gorgeous and comfortable pairs of shoes!

What a great workshop! Kathe and Sonu did a thorough job explaining the history and technique of espadrilles. I highly recommend this worthy cultural experience!

Fun fun fun and a pair of shoes…. What more could a girl ask for? This experience was totally awesome. The owner and staff were friendly, helpful and funny! They we’re personable and helped all participants finish a pair of espadrilles. I recommend this outing for anyone going to Barcelona. And do ask them about restaurants in the area! Their suggestions were a big hit with our group!

OMG, where do I start, i received my shoes yesterday (6.23.22), very fast! I was so excited, but this trully exceeded my expectations... I LOVE THEM! They are not only beautiful, but well made and VERY COMFORTABLE! The virtual experience was expectacular and Luis and Kathe were informative, full of energy (even though it was 1a.m. in Spain) and lots of FUN- Thank you!! I am definately recommending barcelonahm to my friends and family, and I hope that one day I can thank them personally for the wonderful business they run! GRACIAS, GRACIAS, GRACIAS! I placed an order online to be shipped as a gift to the US. They were so great in communications and making sure the gift was exactly what I intended - even after I made a sizing mistake they were able to get the right size and style sent/delivered with the cutest note and awesome shoes. My dad loves the shoes and I can't wait to place an order for myself! Super fast, easy, helpful and so happy with their product!

Just tried on my new sandals. I ordered 43 as I bought 42 when I was in the store and thought I could use a little more room. I was called bc they were out of the Picasso but substituted red. Love the navy and the red and the 43 are great. I bought the Gaudi print in 42 and they fit great a will stretch a bit. I may try an espadrille next time. Thank you for a great product and wonderful customer service. I generally need something with more cushion and support but for 2-3 days a week these feel great.

I had a bit of a mix up with my order initially, but Luis was so quick to fix it and exchange my shoes for me. I’ve got the most gorgeous pair of wedge espadrilles for wear for my wedding reception! Thank you BHM❤️

I had previously visited the shop in Barcelona and purchased a pair of the Gaudi style menorquinas. After three years of very heavy use, including through rain storms in West Africa, they needed to be replaced. I was delighted that they could ship to Canada. I had them in about a week and, just like last time, they are perfection out of the box. I walked 5km in them the first day I had them without a single blister or discomfort. These shoes are beautiful and comfortable.

Superb customer service! When I sent an email to inquire about a style I wanted, Handmade Barcelona responded by sending me a short video clip which showed what they had in stock. Doesn't get better than that!
