Went into to buy an engagement ring, John and the team were superb!!! really helpful and friendly and made the moment special and something to remember. Am going back to get the wedding rings. Ring was handmade and superb quality.

Jamie Baldwin has hand designed my wedding ring and we couldn’t be more happier, They look so perfect ! Jamie has done exactly what we wanted and more, Simon and my self are so happy with all the detail Jamie has done to make them perfect for us! Every time we went into Baldwin’s the team is always so friendly and welcoming thank you for making it so special for us.

Excellent service, a proper jeweller. If you are selling gold or precious metal you will get a better service here than anywhere that I tried in Plymouth. They take their time and examine the item and give you a realistic price.

Baldwin’s is a beautiful jewelry store with an incredible selection in rings, earrings at a decent price range.
I’m currently saving up for a stunning peridot ring they have.
Their service and repair are excellent. Andy is incredibly helpful, as are all the staff there. Definitely worth a visit when you are in Tavistock, if you’re a local who needs something repaired.

I wanted a bespoke made ring for my 40th birthday. I approached James Baldwin to do this for me as he had made my Mum a ring a few years ago and she recommended him to me. James involved me fully throughout the process and was always prompt with replying to my emails. He designed and made me a beautiful platinum, opal and diamond ring that I shall treasure forever. I couldn’t recommend Baldwin’s friendly and professional service highly enough.

I visited this jewellers today and found exactly what I was looking for. The staff were helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough to help me. The item I chose had to be shortened and this was done in an hour. I am delighted by the service I received and will definitely be going back to this fantastic shop

Buying a diamond ring is really not something you do every day and John and the team made the whole experience happy and special. Sage and informed advice alongside some charm meant that yesterday we picked up the most beautiful eternity ring that had been made especially for me. It makes me grin from ear to ear every time I see it sparkling and twinkling on my finger. Thank you!

At the end of December, my fiancé and I asked John and Jamie to complete a very special commission for us- to redesign a beautiful ring my mum had left to me and make it into my engagement ring! Despite Lockdown, they have not only managed to design and make my stunning and extremely sentimental engagement ring but also a wedding ring to complement it in time for our wedding next month!

After recently getting engaged only few days ago we needed to get my engagement ring resized. Sounds like a simple task. The ring had detailing around the band and two jewelers in Plymouth refused to touch it. The ring itself was from America meaning I could be without for months if we decided to send it back. After a recommendation we decided to try Baldwin jewellery. They were nothing but friendly and very helpful. They even resized within the hour as they fully understood that I would want to wear the ring over the Christmas period and with the potential looming lockdown . We left the shop very happy. You couldn't tell that it ever had work done on it and was sparkling more than the day I received it. I would hand on my heart recommend. Thank you so much.

Thank you Jamie and John for helping me design my fiancée’s engagement ring. Despite not living anywhere near Devon and not being able to get into the shop, they guided me through the design process from beginning to end all via telephone and email.
