Barcelona baggage - not easy, not recommended

Pros: cost seemed ok, flexible at pick-up (we arrived an hour early), and bag was ultimately delivered to our cruise ship.
Cons: 1) internet request for service was lost - I never got a confirmation email even though I was charged. This was resolved by a series of not consistently responded to messages on What’s App and email. 2) Delivery was later than requested. We had a noon request for delivery. All onboard was at 5. Luggage arrived after 5 but before we left port. We spent 2 hours working on looking for and not finding luggage onboard since Bags and Go insisted it was delivered. After many unanswered phone calls, hung up calls, and What’sApp messages that the luggage was not onboard I messaged that we would report a scam. That resulted in a phone call from an angry man. He was very unprofessional, aggressive and insistent. Ultimately, after the luggage did finally arrive, he called me back and insisted on me giving him an apology for claiming that his service was a scam when in fact it obviously wasn’t.
In short, I would not use the service again, and I would recommend if your luggage is late that you’re very aggressive about reaching out as soon as possible. We were told by the cruise ship personnel helping us (who used to be in the police), that if we hadn’t called and threatened to report a scam that our luggage would never have arrived.
Note: having read previous reviews we used a lock on our luggage. I think that was a good decision in hindsight.

Do not use this service

Our group left 8 bags at the port in Barcelona for a pickup at the airport. Bags were all checked by Bags&Go before acceptance. At pickup we found 1 broken bag and the guy handing us the bags told us that it fell down during transport.
We sent a complain to the Company and asked for insurance compensation, but -so far- company is stalling and tries to claim that bag was already broken !!
I am still in negotiation with the Co and asked to escalate their position and waiting for a fair handling.

Update
And finally I received Bags&Go reply which simply says they did not check with insurance and they insist that they were not responsible for the damage which happened while the bags were in their custody !
Despite their sales claimed that their prices are high as they provide insurance against loss or damage, there is practically no insurance.

Lousy service and extra lousy handling of a complain with twisted facts from their part.

Not recommended at all unless you want to lose money and time when you face delivery problems !!

we left our bags with this company

when we got back to the UK, the bags had been opened and gone through. Nothing was taken, but it was clear someone "had a look" and broke the bag in the process.

My suitcase inner zip was broken. Inside the inner zip part, zipped cool bags containing wine were found unzipped

This was a brand new 300 GBP suitcase bought for this trip. It was intact and fine when given to this company. The zipper cool bag (inside the suitcase) was a gift from the cruise line

both were all new, all zipped sealed and fine.

When we picked the case up, it was clear tampering had occurred. Now i have a broken suitcase as the inner zip is useless now

Well......

Well......
It took us fecking 25 minutes in line to have our bags handled in the cruise terminal. Only one single young girl was manning the delivery point. Later she got a bit of help.

We had booked and paid and STILL had to fill out paper and wait.

Pick up at the airport was flawless.
