I have been feeding my 10-yr old GR Badlands Ranch chicken recipe as a topper. It has been about a month now and he has more energy and the scratching is way down. He used to scratch persistently se... See more

My dogs love it.
Paco absolutely loves all the flavors
Paco absolutely loves all the flavors! My only thing is the chicken ones tend to end up with lots of tiny crumbly pieces towards the bottom which I fell like is a bit of a waste. Otherwise they are fantastic!
Tori was vomiting and refusing to eat…
Tori was vomiting and refusing to eat the GI kibbles given by her vet, I was really concerned cuz she is only 1y old and being a toy dog the lost of weight could rapidly impact her development. So in an urge to find a healthier but tastier food, I found Badlands and in a few days the vomiting stopped, the poops normalized and Tori was again excited to see me serving her food. I’m glad I tried Badlands! Not to mention that she completely loves the salmon treats! Those are her favs!
New allergy .
Goose our Brittany loves each protein.
Unfortunately we had to stop the beef.
Goose has an allergy to beef so we weren’t able to finish off the last order.
My dogs LOVE your brand
My dogs LOVE your brand! This is for the salmon bites and they always come running. I have a Weimaraner, Kolohe, who will sit like a statue, totally intense but with a stream of drool going down to the floor. My beagle, Charlie, will sit but get up and spin in a circle and sit down again. If I hold back or am not up to his speed he will stomp his front feet! They love these treats!

Bear my Shih Tsz ,loves his treats and food, eating it all right away instead of free feeding. He is more alert and not as constipated and has regular bowel movement unlike before. Thank you!!!
My dog loved the food
My dog loved the food. He would eat it dry which at times was hard to get him to do. He is not picky, but easily tires of the same thing day in and day out. I enjoy the fact that when I am in a hurry, I can scoop a cup for him, and he will eat it all! Good Job!
Butters moves more and plays more
Butters moves more and plays more. He loves the food.
Bella refused to eat ANY other brand
I bought Bella every kind of dog food in the store and online. She, absolutely, refused to eat any of it. Not even a taste. The day her Badlands came, I opened the bag, offered her a nugget and she ate it. I was, truly, in awe. I stood and fed her one piece at a time and she continued to eat her full serving. No word a lie.
I can't wait until her next doctor appointment to brag that she is finally, at the age of twelve, eating dog food.
Thank you for convincing me to try your product. Your food has made her coat shinier, her BM's firmer, and her energy higher. Bella will continue to feast on Badlands for the rest of her life.

My girls love this food
My girls love this food. One of my girls seemed to be losing her appetite and we were getting worried about her. She loves Badlands Ranch Food. Her appetite is back and she can't wait to get her food. She has healthy energy levels, her fur is soft and she is thriving.
My dog loves the food
My dog loves the food. He finishes his bowl every time he eats. The only thing is his stool is very soft
I had been an original supporter of…
I had been an original supporter of this company and purchased 6 bags on autoship of the beef formula. Dogs loved it and after a year on autoship, suddenly an order did not show up and when I called customer service, they went ahead and sent out the product with no explanation as to why it was not sent. Next month card was charged and no food, called customer service and they sent out product. However, I would later discover in August the customer service rep cancelled my subscription! I asked to restore and they could not restore at the price I had been paying. The new price was over 20% more. Needless to say I was upset and feel like I was purposefully cancelled as they needed to remove old subscribers… so they can ask them to pay more or they would have to keep raising prices on the advertised pricing to new customers. Additionally, I was a subscriber to their salmon treats, initially it was excellent and now almost a third is dried HARD fish skin that is not edible or good for your dog. Needless to say after to having hand pick through the treats and disposing of the hard skins attached or throwing out skins in bag, I actually cancelled this subscription!

Dogs Love It!
I found this company quite a while back. I tend to read and read and read about products when it comes to my dogs. I feel that Katherine Heigl was a pioneer in this air-dried concept. I have two large dogs neither of which are food driven. One is picky and my GSD is ridiculously picky!
I cannot afford to feed this as their main diet but let me say that both dogs love this food and have never walked away from it! I use it for small meals, a topper and use it for hide the treat dog puzzles. I believe the price is commensurate with any other air-dried food. My only recommendation would be to allow mixed flavors when ordering the best-priced 6 bags.
The average person will not be able to afford this…
So it might be a great dog food nutritionally. I can't honestly comment on that because I am not going to be able to afford purchasing this dog food in the future. So if you're an extremely wealthy person and you can afford it it might be good for your dog. For most of us though this food is so overpriced it's ridiculous. It is the most expensive one I have found in the fresh or unkibble type dog foods out there. It makes it impossible for the average person to purchase this for their dog. It was going to cost me over $450 per month to feed my 50 lb Golden Retriever and my 3 lb chihuahua. I have tried several of the fresh and unkibble type foods out there and this is not one that I will be able to purchase moving forward. I purchased one bag and it is not much bigger than my hand. I will use it just for treats and not purchase in the future. I will say though their customer service is very helpful and kind and easy to get ahold of. They do have that going for them

Badlands vs. Open Farms
I was pensive when considering moving my pup off of cooked homemade food over to a dry dog food but wanted to ensure my dog was receiving all of the necessary nutrition she needed so did a ton of research and found Badlands as close to my expectations as I could find. My dog did not care for the 24 oz. Beef Superfood complete but ate it because I hand fed it to her. after weaning her onto it for 10 days she was still experiencing runny soft bowel movements so I went on the search and found a different product that met the guidelines for a healthy food at a much cheaper cost, Open Farms. I reached out to their company and discussed my dogs breed, health history abd eating habits and they siggested I not buy their raw mix rather I stick to their Salmon grain free dry mix which I thought was very helpful. I did however, need to buy more of the badlands in order to wean my dig onto open farms, but the second bag I purchased was manufactured different from the first, smaller bite sizes, good, and not a super strong smell of salmon as was the case with the first bag. My dig lived the second bag which tells me there was something not right about the first bag. For the first time in 2 weeks after starting my dog on open farms blended with the second bag of Badlands my dog had a solid movement. Thank the lord! The fact that Open Farms and their team took the time to discuss my dog's personal needs makes that a win! The inconsistency in the food at Badlands makes me concerned about the oversight in production.

Unimpressive online and customer service experience. Expensive!
First time I tried to order and take advantage of an advertised discount for first time buyers, it didn't let me use the advertised additional percent off. Pulled me in but didn't deliver. I ordered the most expensive version anyway.
I think the food is good, but at $50 per 24 oz bag of Lamb and Venison, it's unaffordable.
Figured the first experience was a glitch, but when I decided to reorder at least one more time and use it as a topper, the website was screwy again and didn't have my item or a way to even login. w
When talking to customer service, I was casually condescended to and told she could see the item on the site, so why couldn't I.
Come on Katherine, you can do better than this. I won't be ordering any more.
Need to improve online offers/adds and bad links/websites, improve customer service (I've read multiple significant complaints about customer service treatment), and find a way to sell for less, unless you are doing fine selling to Hollywood.

Unable to obtain invoice
They wouldn't give me a receipt nor invoice with price and mark paid. I have insurance and I paid $149.00 for Super20. I called in to ask for invoice tht is marked balance due zero. Was told could not help me. Pleasant but could care less when I said then I'm unable to order again as my dogs insurance will not pay until I get an invoice with zero due. Won't be purchasing from them again

My dog really likes the food
My dog really likes the food. My issue is the price for such little bags. I have a little dog (14lbs) and her previous food which she likes comes in a 4lb bag and costs $18.00. That bag probably lasts close to 4 months. I can barely get one of your bags to last a month and it’s 6x the price. Even if I get it on sale it’s pretty close to double the price. I just wish I could get a bigger bag of your brand at a lower cost.
