Baden Powell & Sons 

Having had a long, fruitless appointment with a well known dealership it was with trepidation that I contacted Baden Powell & Sons. I need not have feared, from my first contact with Simon and then with Paul, I knew immediately that this was going to be different. Paul was calm and encouraging. Nothing was a drama and he facilitated the whole process with ease and speed. He brought my car to me in pristine condition and patiently filled in the necessary paperwork. He even took me on a short drive to ensure I was familiar with the controls. What a service! What an example of customer care. What a difference it makes! I have no qualms about recommending them to anyone who wants to buy a car. Thank you so very much Paul and all at Baden Powell.

Bought a car form these guys and I have to say that I’ve bought a lot of cars in the past. This time though was by far the most pleasant experience, that’s all thanks to the guys as Baden Powell (especially Tahseen).

They listened to exactly what I wanted and my circumstances and supported me in buying the car I wanted in a timely manner (no messing around at all)! No pressure tactics were used and everything they said they would do they did, unlike like some where they forget and it’s days until you hear from them.

I’m really appreciative towards the team and hope to deal with them again in the future.

I know that the chaps (Garry in particular) have probably been dreading the prospect of a review from me, but they needn't. We had a bit of an issue with a Mercedes C Class that I bought (a fault that was evidently present before they'd even got it themselves). Garry was absolutely fantastic and so were the rest of Baden Powell. Having been in the motor trade myself for a while I am aware of how bad it can be, but if you're considering purchasing from Baden Powell I'd honestly not think twice.

From the off, Garry was a great salesman and not pushy at all - and the after sales service has been fantastic. I'm actually gutted it didn't work out as the car was (regardless of the mechanical fault) immaculate.

Five stars because they get it right, even when it goes wrong.

I have inspected a car that I was interested to buy , and found out that the front wings and bumper was removed. This is very easy to see by looking at the painted screws , and all had tool marks on them. More than that paint under the wing was heavy scratched to the bare metal a sign of someone adjusting the wing many times to align it with the car.

Knowledgeable and friendly. Professional and accommodating. 5* service has earned you another repeat customer when the time comes.

What a fantastic experience from beginning to end every member of the Dealership treat me and my wife as though we'd been customers for years, the two sales people we dealt with Garry and Paul were first rate dealing with everything in a professional manner. We collected the car which had been superbly valeted from the Managing Director Richard who, just like his staff looked after us like members of his family. Really good service from Paul. I popped in, without an appointment a while ago to look over a Honda Jazz. Paul immediately made me feel welcome, no pressure at all. He let me test drive the Jazz and a Suzuki Ignis too, straight away. I went back a few days later and bought the Ignis. I was given a great part exchange price and kept informed regarding delivery. I picked it up a couple of days ago, it's a great car and beautifully presented. We'll done Paul and Baden Powell.

After a terrible experience at this company we have repeatedly requested to be removed from all mailing lists.

Despite assurance from the Managing Director we continue to be harassed with sales emails etc.

Do yourself a favour and stay well clear

Purchased a new Honda from this dealer via CarWow. I have been very pleased with the excellent service from Paul Martin and Gary who kept me fully informed about my purchase at all steps to the process .I cannot recommend them both highly enough .Baden Powell in my case has been first claa .I also want to mention Dale the delivery driver who was also very friendly and professional .

On chasing up my O/S deposit refund a month later. The now retired director organized the refund instantly and I'm in the process of removing my previous review.

Dealt with this company on a Purchase of a Honda Civic.Paid a £99 refundable reservation fee.But decided not to buy 3 days later on Sunday the 1st of August.Still awaiting the refund.

We have just purchased a used swift sport from Baden Powell and cannot rate them highly enough, a real breath of fresh air.
We live approximately 4hrs away from the dealer but our purchase could not of been easier, Mike O’Brien gave me an exact description of the vehicle over the phone, sorted everything out and got the vehicle delivered to the door.
Mike is easy to talk to, very thorough, a real pleasure to deal with.
We would not hesitate in purchasing another vehicle from Baden Powell in the future, great company with good old fashioned values.

Brilliant Service! Bought a car with them during lockdown after seeing it for sale on their website. the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Very honest and upfront salesman and no matter who I spoke to from their team they were always willing to help. Delivered the car all the way to the midlands from their showroom. I would 1000% recommend them to anyone. They made my first dealership experience a breeze and pleasure.

This was the first time we had purchased a car totally online and i would recommend Baden Powell as the whole experience was very positive. Mike and Craig were to two salesmen who linked with me and they were both very good with their communication - explaining the whole process and how it works online. The video of the car was very good and all questions i asked were answered well, showing that they were very knowledgeable about the individual cars that they sell. I am in Scotland, so a long way from Baden Powell so the car was driven up for me, which all went well. Also i felt i got a good price for the car i traded in and that aspect of the sale was straightforward too. Thank you Baden Powell, i have no hesitation recommending you.
