The iPhone 13 I bought has exceeded my expectations. First the price was lower than eg swappie but the phone is in excellent condition. I have now used the phone over a month without any issues and it runs now on iOS 26.0.1 perfectly.

Backmarket staff is very kind
Backmarket staff is very kind, offers are good, products are ok. Unfortunately, you never stop to learn: we purchased an iPhone 13 which probably is from china or somewhere where the eSIM is not allowed and not working. So now we need another phone. Or at least this is the explanation that we could find.

Overall disappointing experience
Good prices but overall my experience was disappointing. I bought a Samsung Z Flip 4 about 1,5 years ago. First of all they sent me a different phone from what I ordered at least in terms of colors. More importantly, I had problems with the battery from the beginning but, stupidly I have to say,
I didn't send it back immediately. As the warranty is just one year I will have to pay to change the battery myself. Not likely to buy from them again.

Unprompted review
Good phone, but using bad courier company.
The phone, an iPhone 13 mini is great. Exactly what I wanted.
However, the courier company Backmarket use are dreadful.
I will not use BackMarket again until I see a change in courier services.
(They are the ONLY delivery service that somehow can’t find our house - so they lie and say it’s an incomplete address or no one was at home) it took 9 days from the time it was supposed to have arrived to actually getting the phone and that was after I had to organise finding another place to have the phone delivered and an hours return journey to get it.
I also have you say that BackMarket did nothing to help at all despite numerous emails.
Good phones, not good customer service or couriers.
