Wonderful experience

Wonderful experience, very smooth and fast without friction. The page is very easy to use, you don't need to provide too many documents in verification, and reviewing is very quick, only takes 10 minutes.

More convenient than other products, the only thing that is missing, is Azimo does not support enough local transfer methods. You can only use SWIFT and pay more.

Getting Worse Day By Day

Azimo was excellent company before few months but every single day and every week it is becoming worst. I used this company for most transfers in Egypt but it is no more effective anymore and have to chase a lot and have to provide the same documents to process the transfers.

Much better than Moneygram or Western…

Much better than Moneygram or Western Union. Had so many problems with those fools.. This is so quick and convenient, that I wouldn't dream of changing it. Totally hassle free. It's a really great example of the difference between an ethical company and a careless, complacent bunch of morons.

Fast transfer

Fast transfer: on the other hand, in addition to the flat fee of €1.99 (which I understand), you also take a commission on the exchange rate which is not negligible.
I will compare with other providers for my next transfer.

I TRY TO BE OBJECTIVE AND SINCERE. 2 MONTHS AGO,RECOMMENDED BY A FRIEND I STARTED USING AZIMO'S SERVICE TO SEND MONEY ABROAD.
THE FIRST TRANSFER REACHED ITS DESTINATION WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS.
THE OTHERS UNFORTUNATELY DID NOT.
AFTER SEVERAL DAYS OF AZIMO REQUESTING DOCUMENTATION FROM ME,TO VERIFY MY FACTS,(AFTER SENDING DOCUMENTS AND BANK STATEMENTS)(THEY WANT TO KNOW WHERE I SPEND MY MONEY)(THEY DEMAND DOCUMENTS THAT HAVE YET TO BE PRODUCED ,LIKE INVOICES TO KNOW WHAT THE MONEY I SEND IS FOR,AS IF IT WAS THEIRS!)
THEY DON'T KEEP IN MIND THAT MONEY TRANSFERS ARE OFTEN DONE EVEN BEFORE BUYING A SERVICE OR GOOD. SUBSEQUENTLY A RECEIPT INVOICE IS PRODUCED!
THEY BLOCK PAYMENTS DAYS AND DAYS EVEN BETWEEN CURRENT ACCOUNTS OF THE SAME PERSON!
I CAN IMAGINE BETWEEN 2 DIFFERENT PEOPLE WITH DIFFERENT BANK ACCOUNTS,BUT BETWEEN ACCOUNTS OF THE SAME PERSON SEEMS FRANKLY ABSURD TO ME.

THESE ARE THE FINDINGS REGARDING MY EXPERIENCE WITH AZIMO.

I AM NOW WRITING YOU SOME CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM.
DON'T BE OFFENDED ,BUT I HOPE YOU CAN USE THEM TO IMPROVE THE SERVICE:

-1. I UNDERSTAND THAT YOU WILL HAVE REGULATIONS TO COMPLY WITH,BUT TRY TO UNDERSTAND THAT SENDING MONEY IS NOT STRICTLY RELATED TO THE PURCHASE OF A GOOD OR SERVICE,ESPECIALLY BETWEEN DIFFERENT ACCOUNTS OF THE SAME PERSON,AND ESPECIALLY YOU DO NOT NECESSARILY HAVE AN INVOICE BEFORE SENDING MONEY.

-2. SUPPORT SERVICE SHOULD BE 24/7. WITH THE TIME ZONE A CUSTOMER WHO IS ABROAD LOSES A WEEK OR 10 DAYS TO RECEIVE ANSWERS AND SENDING MONEY TO THE RECIPIENT IS DELAYED TOO MUCH.
IF YOU THEN REQUEST ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS........THE TIMES ARE BIBLICAL,RESULTING IN CANCELLATION DUE TO PSYCHOLOGICAL EXHAUSTION.

-3. FOR REIMBURSEMENT,YOU SAY 5 DAYS,BUT THE TIME IS LONGER.

-4. YOU SHOULD IMPLEMENT THE DOCUMENT SENDING SERVICE IN A BETTER WAY IN THE PERSONAL ACCOUNT.THERE SHOULD BE A FIXED CLICKABLE BUTTON ALWAYS ,IN SETTINGS,TO SEND DOCUMENTS WHENEVER YOU REQUEST THEM TO US.

-5. INCREASE THE PHRASES IN THE PAYMENT REASONS.
SOME ARE MISSING.THERE ARE MORE CASES TO BE ADDED AS REASONS.

I AM HONESTLY SURPRISED BY YOUR SERVICE OFFERED. AFTER ALL,WE ARE YOUR CUSTOMERS,
WE WHO USE AZIMO AS AN INTERMEDIARY SUPPORT YOU ECONOMICALLY WITH OUR MAILINGS.
IF YOU GET IN OUR WAY,REVENUES WILL DROP.

Thank you for taking time to send such constructive feedback to us, please know it's appreciated. I wish we had the time to implement it, and I think you've made some very sensible points. 

However, as you may have heard we will no longer be offering person to person transfers as of 1/09/2022.

As we have been recently acquired by another company, Papaya Global, we will now be focusing on providing payment services to their business customers, and we will no longer be supporting person-to-person transfers. As a result, Azimo will stop processing any personal and business transfers after August 31.

If you currently have an active transfer with Azimo, it will be delivered as usual. Also, our customer support team remains available to ensure all transfers made before August 31 are delivered successfully and to resolve any outstanding issues.

In line with regulatory requirements, we will also retain data about you and the transfers that we have processed for a period of five years.

Thank you for having sent money with Azimo until now, it's been great to be of service to you and I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused to you over this time. 

Please don't hesitate to let our Support team know if there is anything we can still help you with and we'll be glad to do so.

Azimo has been reliable, but lately...

Azimo has always been reliable. I send money to India and The Philippines.
However, the past week my transfer to The Phil. has been problematic. Money can’t be deposited even w valid accounts. Now need to wait for cancellation and refund. It’s tough for people who rely on your remittance.

The funds has been refunded. A refund can take up to 5 business days, depending on the speed of your bank.
