I picked up the Ayegear jacket today
I picked up the Ayegear jacket today. After reading so many negative reviews saying that the company was closed and other negative comments, I’m glad to say that in my case the jacket arrived safely, the quality is acceptable, and I’m really looking forward to wearing it for the first time. It took a little longer because of customs, but that’s not Ayegear’s fault.
Don't do it
Don't do it. Purchased vest that was disintegrating literally the first time wearing. Black vest leaving black dust residue on my trousers and shirt. Emailed them twice over 7 days but no reply. I should have realised as email confirmations of purchase are from the covid period so presume the original company in Scotland went out of business and this is perhaps some follow-on too lazy to update the communications. Reporting them to trading standards - website is misleading.
Ordered V26 Vest 15/04/2025
Ordered V26 Vest 15/04/2025, goods notified as despatched 17/04/2025. Goods arrived 25/04/2025, probably delayed due to Easter holiday. Quality reasonable for price.
Fraudsters
Oh dear, if only I had read the reviews...
According to companies house, this business went bust years ago. This is just some fraudster flogging left over bankrupt stock that isn't fit for purpose, who then doesn't respond to any form of contact and doesn't refund returns. The website looks legit, but don't fall for it.
Is this company In liquidation?
Unable to contact company by email, phone, text, messages or Facebook. I have returns to make but am unable to contact them to find out how my money will be refunded. Will need to contact my credit card company for help.
Great Company…
3rd Purchase and again very pleased with the service and item.
Speedy delivery.. Well packaged..
Highly Recommend!
Thanks..
Great replacement for my 9 year old Ayegear
Hooray! My new Ayegear jacket has arrived. My old one (2015) still going strong but too small for me now (and no it didn’t shrink!)
The material has been improved and this will be my everyday jacket. The pockets are great for travelling through airports but even everyday having many good size pockets is so useful. Man bag no longer needed. I’m not a fan of the metal badge with Ayegear’s branding but it’s OK. Fit is snug - I always buy one size up to allow for jumper underneath.
Best travel jacket ever made
Best travel jacket ever made, bought two of them with international shipping and it arrived quickly and in perfect condition. They have been our loyal travel companions around the world through half a dozen countries, on average carrying 20-30 lbs of gear each. I only wish it came in a true black color instead of a very dark blue.

I bought a vest and wore it once and found the zipper was getting stuck.
I tried to ring the company and the phone number doesn't work, I've written an email to the company and there's been no response.
Today I'm writing another email with my telephone number and god knows if they will respond if not I will have to take this to small claims.
Please don't make the same mistake that I made don't buy from this company!!
Order never delivered
My order has not been delivered and no replies to my emails. Their phone number is not working. No way to contact them.
The next day after placing my order on 21st July, I received an email saying "Your order has now been shipped" but there was no information about the delivery company nor tracking number. So I sent mail to ask them but no reply. I have sent 4 mails in 16 days but no answers at all.
I checked their company register number, somehow they still exist under a different name but not so much information except that they have moved to Cardiff May 2024.
According to their website they use Shopify so I will try getting help from them as I can not contact Aye Gear...
5-Pocket TShirt - bought one, then three more with mixed results
My first purchase was something of a palaver. VERY late delivery, so much so I was afraid I wouldn't receive it at all and was ready to ask for a refund, compounded by a long delay between order and dispatch. At that point I was ready to lash out with a one-star review, particularly when I was asked to review it before it even arrived.
When it turned up I was impressed. The material is fairly thick, suitable for the strain to be placed upon it, and well stitched together. The nylon zips are standard and I fear potentially fragile, but it isn't easy to see how anything more substantial would work with a T-shirt. So far no problem, so perhaps I'm overly concerned. The breast pocket I use for an average-sized mobile phone which it just about manages, the shoulder for my vape and refill, the waist pocket takes my wallet, and the two side pockets (not zipped) are handy temporary accommodation for this and that including my hands. [Edit: ... but read on...]
I was pleased enough that, despite earlier difficulties with the delivery, I ordered three more. To my surprise, this time they were dispatched within hours of the order being placed and arrived a few days later.
But for that initial delivery issue and my (perhaps unwarranted) concern about the durability of the zips, this would have been a five-star review.
Edit: Looking through some of the other reviews I'm confused. The breast pocket is easily big enough for my passport including a plastic cover. The shoulder pocket definitely not. Perhaps that was the pocket the reviewer was referring to? However, I can confirm that the phone number on the site is disconnected which is not a good look.
Edit 2: Ouch! Okay, the above pocket measurements were for my blue shirt. My red shirt and the breast pocket - and, sadly, all the others - are too shallow for my phone and probably for my passport. Likewise my black shirt. Which means those two shirts are of very limited use for me. For that reason I'm afraid I've knocked off an additional star. These shirts really ought not to be so variable that two of the four I have received bear no resemblance to the site's promotional video.

The chest zip pocket on the Ayegear…
The chest zip pocket on the Ayegear T-shirt, which should be the most important part, is disappointingly small. It can't even fit my passport or phone, making it practically useless.
Not sure what's going on at Ayegear, but it's not great.
I ordered my jacket on the 28th of April. The website says "United Kingdom buyers can expect to receive their order within 1-3 working days". It still hadn't arrived by May 14th.
Tried calling the phone number on their FAQ but the line is no longer in service. Their website references live chat, but I couldn't find any way to use it. I ended up filing a paypal dispute, which they never responded to.
Today, 23rd May, the jacket arrived. Looking at the tracking it was dropped at a parcel shop on 21st May, so that's over 3 weeks for them to dispatch the jacket.
Dunno what went on here, I gave them two stars because at least the jacket arrived, but everything else about the process (delivery time, communication) was not good.
I closed the dispute as I (finally) received the jacket...but yea, no idea what's going on at AyeGear, you folks ok over there?
Not happy with the jacket for reasons…
Not happy with the jacket for reasons listed in other reviews here. No replies to emails from AYEGEAR. Phone calls are returning the 'no longer in service' message. Retuning product anyway. My credit card company is working with me. I'm sure shipping from here to there won't be cheap. Not great.
Order never delivered
Order never delivered, despite payment being taken on 21st December and an email saying it had been sent on 22nd with a statement to expect "up to 5-7 working days for delivery".
"We ship all our orders out via registered and tracked mail to ensure you can track your package...Once your item is dispatched, we will notify you of your unique tracking number." No such tracking was offered nor was there a response to a further email inquiry asking about tracking, although there was a follow-up asking for a review - to be sent directly to the company, but looking like a Trustpilot review.

Purchased an AyeGear H11 hoodie
Edited to remove previous review, since it appears I didn't actually order what I thought I ordered.
Item arrived quickly after being ordered.

Overpriced junk!
Overpriced, poorly made, zips are just rubbish and jam all the time. Durability is low - mine recently just fell apart. It was a great idea (which they "borrowed" from another company) but they're just made down to a price. The company doesn't claim to have a shop, so why that "revelation" should surprise another reviewer is a mystery. Their website today (late July 2022) still offers a discount code for Christmas 2020, so don't expect much in the way of customer service from them.
My next one will definitely be a Scottvest!
BUYER BEWARE...!!!
I found AyeGear online and was interested in purchasing one of their jackets. When I tried to contact them by email and then by phone this is what I discovered:
1. Their phone number 0844 414 8315 is no longer in service.
2. Their claim to be a registered company in Scotland is false. Their Company Registration No. 10730414 belongs to DMZ Ltd. in London, N1 7GU.
3. I visited their address in East Kilbride and it doesn't exist. There is NO shop!
4. I learned that the owners are two brothers. One lives in China and the other lives (and works) somewhere in the UK. I wasn't able to get a contact number from the person I spoke to.
5. I sent two emails trying to contact them and both emails went unanswered.
Therefore, despite the professional website appearing as a successful and legitimate trader, there are many unanswered questions. Too many to make spending upwards of £100 on a jacket a safe bet. I, therefore, advise you to be very careful when trading with this AyeGear. Caveat emptor!
Not impressed even after an 8 year gap.
Used a jacket years ago, poorly made ,zip broke quite quickly ,refused exchange.Thought I would give them another try, given no tracking number, asked twice and no response to emails.Really rubbish customer service.
