What 15 leads actually looked like, day by day
We are a remodeling contractor in the Tampa area. We ran an account with Project Pal (Avir Digital) in September 2026 and received 15 leads. Here is the whole account, lead by lead.
What was advertised: leads that are pre-qualified before delivery, with homeowner status, project type, timeline and budget confirmed, and an average lead-to-appointment rate of 35%+.
The account, in order of delivery. Status is what our team recorded in Project Pal's own portal; the credit notes are Project Pal's own decisions and their own stated reasons.
Sep 9 - shower - no contact
Sep 10 - walk-in shower - no contact
Sep 10 - project recorded as "new ac install" - credited by Project Pal, reason: "Wrong service/type of lead"
Sep 10 - walk-in shower - credited by Project Pal, reason: "disconnected phone number"
Sep 11 - shower - no contact; credit requested Sep 17, never processed

Sep 16 - bathroom remodel - credited by Project Pal
Sep 16 - bathroom remodel - no contact; credit requested Sep 17 (one day after delivery, inside their own 72-hour window), never processed
Sep 21 - shower - no contact; delivered four days after we asked in writing for the account to be paused
One homeowner reached out of 15. One appointment set, not kept.
We did not sit on this. We raised it with them while we were a paying account in good standing, and here is that sequence:
September 11, two days into delivery - we emailed to say the leads were going straight to a generic, unconfigured voicemail when our team called on delivery, and asked what was happening.
September 14 - we emailed again to say it was the entire batch, not a few leads. Their representative replied that he agreed necessary changes were being made, and mentioned work still in progress on their side.
September 17 - we asked in writing for the account to be paused immediately, told them their portal would not accept our credit submissions, and named four leads for credit. The account was not paused and those credits were not issued.
September 26 - when we asked what those "necessary changes" actually were, they answered that they had "added a few more layers of phone number verification to the funnels and forms in an effort to increase contact rates." The same email states that their product is complete and operating correctly.
A few other things worth knowing before you sign up.
Their credits are not refunds. Credits apply only to future leads, so once you stop buying, a credited bad lead is worth nothing to you.
Their website says bad leads are credited with "no fight." After we disputed the charges with our card issuer, we received a final demand letter and notice of intent to file a BBB complaint and place the balance with collections.
Their website advertises "Rated Excellent on Trustpilot." This profile showed zero reviews when we checked on October 3, 2026.
We have since moved the same budget, the same CRM and the same follow-up process to another lead provider and are seeing a connection rate above 70%.
The billing dispute is still with our card issuer. Everything above is taken from Project Pal's own portal, their own emails, and their own website.
