Horrible Customer Experience/Service
I ordered a sweatshirt on sale for my daughter for Christmas. I received it and it had some blue ink on it from the logo on the front. I reached out and they said they would be happy to replace it. They asked me to send it back and sent me a label. I sent it back and let them know when I shipped it. I emailed them like they asked to let them know I shipped it. They didn't return my email for 5 days and then when they did they told me it was out of stock and that I could get my money back to then buy it when it was back in stock. I called the number I found online and of course no one answered and told me to leave a message. This is absolutely they worst customer experience for a clothing company that charges a lot of money for their clothing.
Aviator Nation is a great idea gone…
Aviator Nation is a great idea gone wrong. "As the greed gets bigger the quality gets smaller" as they say in Brooklyn. Suggestion, increase quality and reduce prices; volume and profit will increase.
As AN is now, I give it two years at most. One year if this review is not removed and is widely read.
Have patience & get to know the brand
Have patience with AVN and know their policies. Anything over 20% off is FINAL SALE so don’t buy it without knowing your sizing with 100% certainty. Sizing is different on various items. The velvet pants, for example, run small. Usually I’m a size Small but I size up to a Medium on their pants. Otherwise, I’m safe with a Small on everything else (that I’ve tried). Currently, I own 7 of their outfits. I work from home and casual/comfy is my workwear. With that said, AVN is perfect combination of comfortable, casual, and super stylish. Their stuff REALLY stands out and makes a statement. However, their shipping is slow and customer service is helpful but basically limited to email only. I suggest calling their stores for general questions. The store reps are very nice and helpful, and can sometimes locate items that are not available online. The takeaway is: it ain’t cheap, but they have a lot of sales, and once you get to know your sizing, you’ll be hooked. Lastly, I don’t understand complaints about quality. I think people don’t appreciate why their items are higher priced so they just want to complain about “quality for the price.” The items are literally handmade. They’re the softest clothes I’ve ever owned and look ah-mazing!!
AWFUL QUALITY
The quality of the ninja hoodie is TERRIBLE. the fabric around the neckline literally scratches my neck. I cannot wear it, I just keep pulling it away from my neck and for $170 this should NOT be happening. Its past the return date and I'm not even going to try with customer service based on these reviews, but leaving this review to help others. The quality is NOT good.
The worst service in terms of shipping
The worst service in terms of shipping. I ordered a vest for my daughters birthday, it’s taking longer than 2 weeks to arrive. Don’t make policies clear—you can’t return anything for cash if you apply a coupon. You can never get through to a customer service agent for anything. There is no line to call and they haven’t responded to emails.
Bought a ninja hoodie
Bought a ninja hoodie. The design is so great however the fabric is incredibly thin and there is substantial pilling after just two washes (cold, line dry). The quality is so poor. I swear the one my sister bought a few years ago is much better quality. I would have returned however I bought the hoodie at 40% off and returns are not possible. Thank goodness it was on sale but it was still $130!! I guess this confirms I am not willing to pay designer prices for poor-quality garments. At least it was made in the US. At least you are supporting US labor with this company. Although they don't go into not detail about this on their website. Lastly, I left an honest review via their email request and a week later it still hasn't been posted.
DO NOT INVEST
DO NOT INVEST
I love Aviator Nation clothes, but the service is terrible. I spent $1,500.00 on clothes and was notified, after the purchase I might add, that since I sleceted UPS Ground shipping my order did not take precedence over any expedited orders. Had I known that before the purchase I of course would have selected expedited shipping.
Worse, they delete negative reviews on Facebook and Insta, which misleads the customer as to the quality of their product and customer service. Customer service is part of a quality product, and AN has no integrity nor transparency towards their customers.
Worst customer service anywhere!
Worst customer service anywhere!! I ordered a shirt and it took forever to show shipped ship. Then it finally shows shipped only for a couple days later for the tracking info to show that the shipment has been cancelled. Their automated system says it’s still on the way according to the same tracking that shows it’s been canceled, which makes no sense! I’ve tried calling a countless number of times, with no answer. I’ve emailed with no reply. I still don’t know where my shipment is, or whether the order has been cancelled. This is ridiculous! Never again!!
from gold member to no member, worst customer service ever
I have shopped at Aviator Nation for a couple of years now, love the brand and staff in my local Manhattan Beach store. Aviator Nation customer service and automated texts is another story for ordering online, I placed an order and requested cancellation after 9 days of text updates saying my package was on the way, without tracking, nor any workable solutions from customer service, the company has zero accountability! What a shame, all I asked for was to re-order the same items at the 20% discount that was used to make the original purchase and got flat out denied. What’s the point of being a gold rewards member for a company that doesn’t care about taking accountability for their own mistakes.
For this price customer service is a joke
Purchased a hat during their sale TWO weeks ago. Keep getting the run around about shipment, keep getting different shipping numbers. Told them to finally cancel my order, which they did almost instantly while I was given confirmation from UPS that they rerouted my order back to them. One would think a company that overcharges so much for their clothing would not only have better customer service but would try to make up for their mistakes versus leaving me with absolutely nothing in the end. What a waste
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. Trying to exchange items for a smaller size has been impossibly slow. When I ask customer service, they takes many days to respond and when they do they tell me to check the tracking, as if I hadn't already done that and explained that I had done that. It has been awaiting UPS pickup for a week? It is a CA based company and I am in CA. Very overpriced for such cheap material and bad, slow service. I hope I receive the items eventually, so I can return them and get my money back.
I know this may seem small
I know this may seem small, but the reason the sweatpants are expensive (so I’ve read) is the quality of the fabric used. It’s advertised as 50% cotton, 37%polyester, and 13% rayon. However! The pair I received is 50% polyester, 37% cotton, and 13% rayon. These sweatpants do not feel the same or as high quality as a pair I bought 4 or 5 years ago. I also don’t like the fit as much as my last pair. Maybe they grew so big as a company and the detail or quality have gone down? Not sure, but I can’t justify this price when there are so many other brands out there to look at now.
Beware Aviator nation’s estimation’s for clothing arrival is not up to date.
I’m being generous with this review and giving 4 stars but I believe others would take this personally possibly. I bought the aviator nation neon pink labeled sweats size small. The sweats are unbelievably comfortable I must say, but the prices for these clothes are ridiculously expensive. It started to pill a day later but I didn’t quite mind. Aviator nation states that their clothing arrives in less than 4 days, but it arrived in a week for me? It would be helpful if the company could be a little more clear that it arrives in less then 7 days instead of 4. Overall pretty good service but I recommend buying clothing when the company is having sales so it can save you at least $40.
Consistently deliver outstanding…
Consistently deliver outstanding customer service. I appreciate their ability to think outside the box and to do the right thing again and again. Not only does the quality and comfort justify the pricing, but the fact that they have real humans who can process and deliver actual customer service.
I wish i read some of this reviews…
I wish i read some of this reviews before i place an order!! This is the worst customer service ever!!! They don’t answer the phone! They don’t answer emails! Overally they are horrible. I haven’t seen this in CA specially. Very disappointing!!
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. Please do not purchase from them. They did not fill my order and have charged my bank account. There is no one in customer service. They direct you to email and no one responds. They literally stole $200.00. I will contact my Secretary of State’s office and their registered agent. Please read the other reviews. Their activity is criminal and it’s a matter of time before they are shut down.
The 5 star reviews do not reflect my…
The 5 star reviews do not reflect my experience. The 1 star reviews are spot on. No person ever answers the phone, it’s a bot that directs you to email. Same with live chat, it’s automated with canned answers. I’ve called many times during their business hours listed and emailed twice with no reply whatsoever. They sure send a lot of ads to my email though! Disappointed as I thought this company was a great success story.
Ordered an item but received the wrong…
Ordered an item but received the wrong item, it took back and forth 4 emails to correct and asked me to take pics etc and sent back, was told that I would receive the correct item, then can back to me and said they didn't have it. I gave back feedback that they need better customer service, Kaleb totally ignored that comment, no acknowledgement whatsoever ever and said they just refunded.
Poor quality
Poor quality. Fabric already pilling after one wash in the gentle cycle.
A forever customer
I've been wearing AN for years now and I've never had any issues with customer service or the products. I have leggings, sweatshirts and t-shirts that I bought years ago and they look and fit the exact same as when I first bought them. Out of all the items I've bought from them over the years, I've had an issue with 2 or 3 items and they were fixed right away. Other companies will make you send in the product and receive it before they'll make it right. AN has never done that, they make it right and ask you to send back what you received when you get time. I will continue to support them and hope others aren't turned off by any negative reviews! I feel like the negative reviews all stem on their high price, but you always get what you pay for!
