I recently purchased a bracelet for…

I recently purchased a bracelet for 4.99. Nice looking but my bank account was charged for 50.00. I want to delete this company from my world. It said nothing about this amount. I live on social security and truly cannot afford this. You can keep the first 50.00 but I want refunds on the rest of it. It is not right that you are doing this and you know it. I am 80 years old and can’t do this. You should feel guilty of taking people’s money. I want a refund and your company out of my money.

Too good too be true, deceptive advertising

This company uses deceptive advertising. I purchased a bracelet ONLY because it was FREE, just pay S&H of $4.99. To my surprise, I had been automatically charged $49.99. Upon sending an email inquiring why, I was told the only reason I had received the bracelet for $9.99 (not what I paid but okay) was because I had signed up as a VIP member. Ummm, no I didn't. I was very cautious about this as I know companies tend to suckered you into this as a "cancel at any time" after they've already enrolled you. I read all the fine print upon checking out and found nothing regarding any kind of membership. Long story short, after 4 emails and the relentless ignoring of my request to cancel the membership and issue a refund, as they were STILL trying to sell me on the membership, they finally agreed to cancel it, but basically said it's not our concern that you didn't see it and you'll be getting no refund. These type of companies are the ones that give good companies with excellent customer support a bad name. I even offered to send the bracelet back since the robotic response couldn't get the amount I actually paid for it, correct. Do not get caught up in the "too good to be true" advertising that seems to be the norm of today. Do they actually think that trapping a customer into a membership is going to entice the customer to continue doing business with them? I think not. Be careful out there and do your due diligence by reading the reviews and complaints about the company before any purchases!
