Numatic 32mm multiple size hoses
We purchased 2 of the Numatic 32mm Multi size hose’s as I was after a longer hose for reaching hard to reach areas like the ceiling. I assumed from the photo that the fitting for attaching the hose to the vacuum was locked together with the hose in the same way the original hose is. However, this isn’t the case and the screw fitting screws onto the hose by only a few turns. Subsequently on vacuuming, the tubing unwinds from the attachment and comes out, repeatedly! It also affects the seal. It’s infuriating. Purchasing this product coincided with the birth of my son so it was not my top priority and I was subsequently outside of the 1 month returns policy when I contacted Avern. They were prepared to offer me a replacement however on confirming I had the compatible vacuum it seemed pointless. It saddens me that on informing Avern (the manager) on a product that doesn’t work as expected and what I consider a misleading product image on their website, they were uninterested. Funnily enough there is no direct means of reviewing the products Avern sell.

I do not like to give a bad plug however firstvtime using the mop heads fell to pieces, ive since ordered a more expensive one, it must have been a manufacturing fault.

Emailed them as I was not satisfied with the product. They came back suggesting some solution tgat didn't work out. After that I emailed them again and requested refund, have not heard back since. Update: customer service team got back to me and I am very happy with how their handled it.

Great efficient company with v'good prices!
Used to buy spares from them on eBay over many years, since all eBay's stupid UK changes for private buyers/sellers, I deleted my account of 13 years.
Very Glad Avern have their Own website, ordered direct from them the numatic/henry part at cheaper than from them on ebay - Great website, easy to find part & checkout was easy with PPal & as promised arrived in 48HRs to me - Just Perfect, very happy.
