Not Impressed

Not impressed with the quality of the flowers delivered, the size of the flowers, and the tiny kids basket they were arranged in, did not look like the photo online, was something maybe a elementary school girl would like.

I picked some beautiful flowers from…

I picked some beautiful flowers from the photos and paid for them and then I got a message that you did not have the one I picked and sent me some pictures of some other flowers. So I wanted my money back and was told you could not refund me my money that I had to pick from the flowers in the new photos you sent and you would send some chocolate covered strawberries. I will never use you guys again and I will make sure that everyone one I talk to knows what what you did to me

Deceptive advertising

Deceptive advertising - website structured to give appearance they are a local, brick-and-mortar florist, but they are a broker. Not only could they not fulfill my elderly mother's special occasion order, but they missed the delivery by three days. We contacted her bank to reverse the charge. When the UPS, boxed shipment (who sends flowers like that?)arrived, we refused the package.

Surprise charges

Company added a $26+ service fee not shown on my original charges--don't mind the $10 delivery fee but what is the service fee never mentioned when I ordered the flowers. Would never use this company again because of the bait and switch on charges--something I thought would cost around $65 ended up being $95--do not use this company unless you are clear on the ridiculous added charges never mentioned when you originally ordered.

Some companies simply conceal their service fees in the cost of the flowers, in addition to charging a delivery fee. At AVAS, we prefer to keep it separate so that you know exactly what you are paying for at the final step of the web checkout. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

It is our mission to make all customers' online ordering experiences as seamless as possible. The final cost of a purchase is largely dependent on a lot of factors, including the destination, applicable taxes, and the day and date of delivery. This makes it challenging to provide the total before collecting all the relevant information. To ensure that the customer's expectations are set correctly, we state throughout Steps 1 (Delivery Info) and 2 (Billing Info) that tax and fees will be calculated once the addresses and delivery date are confirmed.

After addresses and delivery dates are filled in on Steps 1 and 2, we can calculate any relevant costs outside the product total. Step 3, the ""Review & Place Order"" section of our online cart, allows customers to enter a coupon code they may wish to include. This section displays the total, including tax and fees. Please note that a purchase cannot be finalized until this section is displayed, reviewed, and confirmed by the customer. A more detailed explanation of our service fee can be found here:

If I could I would give 0 stars

If I could I would give 0 stars. Could not deliver on the requested date, tried to deliver them 2 days late, called me then proceeded to waste over 20 minutes of my time offering different levels of discounts when I kept firmly asking for a refund, which they eventually did, but it took about 5-6 times of telling them very explicitly I no longer wanted their services.

Ava’s delivered flowers to a residence…

Ava’s delivered flowers to a residence and 2 days later when I saw the arrangement I was not happy with the flowers they selected. I had requested purple and there was one purple flower in the whole arrangement. I contacted them and they swiftly refunded most of my money and reminded me that an email had been sent to me which stated I would approve of substitute flowers being used. In the haste of getting to a different state because of a death in the family, I clicked and said ok.
They worked with me beautifully during a sad time.

Disappointing

Flowers were for my cousin's birthday and were not delivered when I had hoped, not until the day after her birthday. I thought the florist was local to her city, which it was not. I was disappointed and will not use this service again.

I never received the order, even though I received notification that it had been delivered. I complained several times, but received no response from an unfriendly automated system.

Flowers were meant to be sent Easter Saturday. The date was wrong on the order (maybe my fault). I called to reschedule for later that week. The operator changed it to then. The order wasn’t delivered until weeks later.

Worst Service EVER

Worst Service EVER.
Flowers were never delivered but was lied to that it was. This was for Easter Sunday.
Mysteriously they appeared the following day. 8 tulips instead of 16 & they were in really bad shape.
Was told I was gonna be refunded half but got much less than that.
Never got N apology or nothingness

It was a new experience using Ava’s…

It was a new experience using Ava’s Flowers and ordering on an app. It worked well and when there was a question they called with their question and worked out the details. They were very pleasant and the end result was perfect and beautiful. Would recommend!!!!!

Terrible experience!

Terrible experience would definitely not ever use again. Flowers delivered were terrible and upon supposed 2nd attempt of delivery, the order was never received.

Pricier than other florists

Initially, I as very disappointed, because flowers arrived later than had been indicated. Also price was $40 more than expected. After contacting the company I never received a response. This is the first contact I’ve received since April. After a recent visit to the recipient’s house, the orchid is beautiful, so for that reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 star. Very deceptive of price and flower arrived in very poor condition, initially.

Same day delivery was promised but not…

Same day delivery was promised but not fulfilled. Delivery was expected on the 3rd but did not happen until the 6th. In addition to the delay, the flowers I ordered were unavailable. The only other option available was the "Designer's seasonal mix" so I had no idea what was being delivered. While the flowers that were delivered were pretty, they were not what I had in mind at all. Overall, I was very disappointed with the experience.
