Don't understand the bad reviews, I've head no problem with them at all

Very similar to dozens of other reviews I have read and wish I listened to before applying. Their mode of operation is to make you believe you are all but approved and all you have to do is verify a few things like your bank account and income etc. On the back of this you supply absolutely everything they ask for, including, curiously, full login details for your online banking so they can take a “snapshot”, they then phone you back asking one question per phone call and saying that’s all they need and it should go through now, repeated 2 or 3 times. Then a few days later you get an email saying you’ve been declined. They really do operate on false hope but I’m not certain what it is the gain from this, whether they are data mining or trying to get as many rejections as they can so they look like a responsible lender. Absolutely terrible service from start to finish.

Had an unaffordable payday loan claim with them which was upheld on 1 or 2 previous loans with them. Was told 2 weeks ago that it would take 30 days to refund the money to my account. 30 days!?!? Quick to take payments from you when you’re supposed to pay them back but when it comes to refunding you money that you’re owed, all of a sudden it’s 30 days!! Joke.

No stars if I could.
Shocking service. Promise you’ll be accepted. Delaying tactics for over a week even though they advertise same day service.
Set up a direct debit on my account for payments even though I had received no correspondence from them at all, let alone anything to say that I was accepted. Always had to call and chase myself. Said they called but didn’t.
Keep you waiting then right at the end when they have nothing further to delay on, decline the application.
Did not carry out one thing that they advertise.
Shocking company and customer service.
Please do not use, don’t put yourself through the heartache, agony or aggravation.

had a £1000 loan with them about 3 years ago, I never missed or messed up on a payment once.. Paid it back perfectly, and at that point i had a very low credit score...
Their website was fantastic, their customer service was brilliant too... but 3 years on, My credit score is pretty good now, but got declined for a £1000 loan..
Typical, I was in desperate need of the up-front cash too..
Absolutely terrible now..

loan money is ready to transfer into your bank as our accountant has set up online loan transferred in order to do it we requires loan transfer code which will be generated by our Merchant Bank for that you need to pay small loan transfer fee £40 via western union terminal follow the steps while pay.

SOUNDS AND LOOKS EXTREMELY DODGY, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

I was a little bit dubious having read some of the reviews I was looking for a loan and obtained various quotes ie my bank and a couple of other companies these were by far the cheapest.

Completed the online application provided the requested information and in a total of 4 days the money was in my account.

From my experience if you supply all the information to support your application then it is a very smooth process.

Highly recommended.

Total con, followed link from TotallyMoney for 100% approved for loan, 3 days later declined. Misleading and dishonest, would never have applied if it was made that claims were false.

Honestly I don't understand all the bad reviews! Applied Thursday had my money by Tuesday. Yes not the fastest but easy online process and with a pretty bad credit rating I thought the interest rate was ok at 11.9% no complaints would highly recommend.

They need to learn to speak to customers right as this is the worst place I have ever used

I first used Avant in 2015 and found their application process seamless and very easy to use with my first loan cleared early without hitch. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for my latest experience which reading through other feedback appears to be a common theme. After completing the application for what I was advised by their website was a '100% approved' loan, I was left without any communication for two weeks only to be declined. I think the level of information required for Avant to make a lending decision is both excessive and misleading and had I known the application was only at the 'pre approval' stage two weeks later I would have looked elsewhere. If you are looking for a quick decision I would avoid this company. Shame this company seems to have lost their way but ultimately did me a favour as I secured a much better rate by shopping around.

I was guided by Noddle to this company for a loan to help protect my credit score. ‘100% Pre Approved’ it said, or I wouldn’t have bothered, offering me 11.1% apr.

I’ve never had a finance company behave the way Avant did. Three days waiting with no communication only to be declined, only finding out by checking my junk folder on my emails.

I class this as mis-selling to customers and further damaged credit score. Stay away from this company.

Not sure how legit this is did anyone have to pay up front on a loan ie insurance and taxes with avant finance. Co.uk

Was offered a loan then before I signed anything I changed my mind they then sent me an email saying i was being charged 299£ for time wasting. Good luck with that

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. Literally have to jump through hoops and supply information for this company. Total waste of time, never encountered anything like it. cannot emphasise how trivial and time wasting this company is. Not even worth the one star rating. 0 from me!!

Just applied for a loan with Avant Credit which was approved in principal. Got an e-mail saying I was just steps away from getting funds today. Another e-mail with details of direct debit mandate and payment schedule. Then an e-mail saying loan had been declined. Rubbish, they give false hope.

The worst company I have ever dealt with. A refund has been agreed as they lent to me irresponsibly. Constantly lied to and ignored via email. Also lied to over the phone. Do not use these people.
