I can’t say enough about Avant
I can’t say enough about Avant. But I will say this. If you do right by them they will do right by you and give you the opportunity for their other products. I have a card. I got an increase and a year later I got approved for a loan. Recently. It truly is a blessing. So if you can just pay the minimum payment so your payment history will be in good standing and if you have more over the month pay a little more. I will say A plus service across the board

It was all done online and had an approval in less than 24 hours. Deposit was done in the time frame I was given and even though interest rate a little high, it is still less than the credit cards I paid off.

Terrible terrible terrible
I have tried multiple times over the past month to month in a half to have an issue resolved and still hasn’t been resolved. Their way of resolving my issue was to completely close my account without notifying me or explaining the reasoning. I had made purchases that went through but then apparently I made 1 too many purchases at the same time. So they got flagged for fraud. That I understand. I called to verify it was me making the purchases and they reset my card. Card decides not to work, so I called again. They reset and still didn’t work. Called again and they said it was sent to investigations and I would be notified when it is resolved. Never received an email and I had to call to then find out that they actually closed my account. To get resolved, they kept sending me to different emails to get in touch with and never would just straight send me to a person in the resolutions department. Absolutely horrible and still unresolved!

I’ve had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with Avant. This company shows little to no consideration for customers facing real-life hardships.
I run a mobile detailing business, so my income depends heavily on weather conditions. During the heavy rain seasons each year in my area, I’m unable to work consistently. This past year has been especially difficult due to repeated storms and even equipment damage, which caused me to fall behind on payments.
What’s most concerning is that I’ve been proactive the entire time. I’ve called Avant multiple times each month, explained my situation clearly, and tried to stay in communication. Every time, I’m told they will “submit a request” to waive late fees—but every single request has been denied.
On top of that, I have documented screenshots showing inconsistencies on my account, including instances where Avant applied credits and then later reversed those credits. This raises serious concerns about account accuracy and internal handling of customer balances.
Despite my efforts to communicate and resolve this responsibly, I continue to be charged late fees that make it even harder to catch up. It feels like the system is designed to keep customers behind—paying interest and penalties instead of making real progress on their balance.
Other credit card companies I’ve worked with have shown flexibility and basic understanding. They’ve occasionally reversed late fees to help me get back on track. Avant, on the other hand, consistently falls back on “policy” with no willingness to support customers during temporary hardship.
Yes, I understand the agreement outlines late fees—but where is the accountability when errors occur on the account? And where is the customer support when someone is actively trying to resolve their situation?
At this point, I am considering escalating this further, including filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau and exploring additional options. Consumers should be aware of how rigid and unhelpful this company can be when you actually need assistance.
If you’re considering Avant, be cautious. They may be quick to charge fees, but don’t expect flexibility, support, or consistent account handling when life happens.

Received a loan I never agreed to
I applied for a loan. I received an approval letter that clearly states in red “Click here if you agree”. After read the outrageous terms I was not agreeing to this loan. I never “clicked “. I received the money into my account anyway and returned it immediately. I’ve been disputing outrageous administration fees ever since and unable to speak to anyone with authority. This has been going on since November 29, 2025. It is ruining my credit and causing health issues. I’m going to have to hire an attorney
