Great service, great car.

bad communication, aggresive workers. we rent a car on 16.09 and had already insurance via broker. they told us that they dont see our insurance in system and we have to have from them a new one. due to their insistent behaviour, we had to accept and they sold us extra insurance 180 euro and said that they will pay back 100 euro after we bring car back. we dropped the car off on 21.09 and since then, no back payment, no answers to my emails or phone calls. even there, the lady got angry and was telling his colleague in italian language so many things we didnt understand, she was complaining. so please be aware of this company. the airport office in Naples is so bad! in Bari, they were nicer. i want my money back but they dont response to emails nor phone calls

They would not accept my card and put me in a position where I had to purchase their over priced insurance in order to take the car. The insurance was more expensive than the rental fee. I had more than adequate insurance both by travel insurance and rental insurance by another company at a fraction of the cost. I would have been having to pay a bond, but that wasn't good enough for these thieves. It's a scam to get more money from you. Avoid at all cost they are vultures.

Ecovia office ln Napoli are a Fraud.
Ecovia claimed they did not receive the voucher and requested 700% more money.

We had to choose another rental office and lost three hours +reservation money.

I had a reservation for august 13th at 11:30. But our plane was cancelled so I had to make a new flight booking the day before and would land nealy 2 hours later than planned. I called Autovia the day before to inform them about the delay. I talked to a girl that told me, that she would write a note about it. She told me to call again if I was further delayed.
And actually our flight was almost an hour delayed and I tried to call as soon as I landed, but the phone wasn't answered (I tried several times).
When I arrived I was told that I was late and my car was no longer available and I had to pay 72 euro extra because the only available car was more expensive!!! Their regulations said to only hold a car for 59 minuttes :( Even though I actually paid for the car in advance :(

Furthermore the salesman asked where we were going. We told him we were going to amalfi coast and he convinced us that we most certainly would risk damaging the tires or the front of the car. Therefore he offered us an insurance to 142€ (but then he would cancel the 72€ upgrade-price). Being afraid to get a giant extra bill for damages we accepted this. But we were so bitter and angry and and swore that we would never use Autovia again!

Scam, be aware, they will charge your credit card after month of returning the car, without any explanation, which happened tom me. Please stay away from this rental company.

We had a good experience with the car. Nearly a year after, we received an email with so called damage we did to the car and an overpriced fee we had to pay for a dent smaller than a euro. We had video evidence of proof that the dent was not caused by us and even if it would have been us, we had full insurance. This made my experience with the company not great. Will not be coming back!

Terrible experience. Pickup was chaotic. Return even more so. No help available (a bus driver from another rental company helped us out:''just place the car somewhere in the row, doesn't matter; there is no spaces left anyway. He also told us: you can drop the keys in the small letterbox next to the toilets). Waiting line to the desk was unending, so good thing he told us. So we left the car. Afterwards we receive claim, that we made a scratch on the hood. Firstly: we didn't, Secondly: the scratch showing on the pic they sent is next to invisible. Thirdly: the car had numerous scratches all over.
What a ripoff.

This was my 2nd time with Autovia in the Naples airport. Price was super competitive and they gave a car of a higher category. All the staff was extremely professional, friendly and efficient. Michela went above and beyond her duties considering that she was the only one holding the fort. Will be definitely use them again in the future.

I rented a car here in September. Had nagging from day 1 and had to deal with unfriendly employees. Read my previous review for this. Now 5 months later, this landlord debits €700 deposit without notice. This turns out to be possible and I'm really shocked. I wrote to them but haven't heard anything yet. Skip this landlord if you don't like stress and scams.

Update: Received an invoice for around €700, exactly the entire deposit. And this 5.5 months after returning the rental car and releasing the deposit. This is really pure fraud, it contains things that are completely unrecognizable or extremely inflated. I am working with ICS to dispute this transaction, but what a gang of thieves. Apparently they can still collect your deposit up to a year after the date. You are simply powerless. DO NOT RENT!

They try and charge you un needed extra insurance when hiring and shout at you if you decline, even though you have taken this out seperately in UK. Then.... they charge you 6 months later on your credit card for apparant missing kit, that wasnt missing !! Avoid at all costs !!!

Autovia is a terrible car rental agency, they never reply to your emails or phone calls. Even though the deposit in our case was 100€, they deducted 118€ once and 30€ again in December for a rental in August, without any information why!!! And today I receive an auto reply that my email adress has been blocked.

Company unclear about “requirement” for international driver license on website and refused to rent with valid US driver license. Refused to refund a booking that was made the same day. Extremely long wait at airport and rude/unfriendly staff.

If I ordered a Japanese or Korean car, I want to get exactly that, not a European one!

The waiting by the picking up of the car was unbearable. Car was fine and delivering car back was no problem.

Rental car with previous damages on all sides! Scratches, dents, holes. Good thing I photographed and filmed everything.
The car was not clean, either on the inside or the outside. The tires were not inflated properly and the brakes were squeaking. The car was clearly not cared for and in an actually unacceptable condition, but in Naples all the cars on the road had damages.
No recommendation.

The treatment was despicable.
They gave us a car that was not the one we had hired, with a multitude of damages.
They blocked our deposit because they told us that we had scratched it. Not only that, they did not send us the necessary documents so that we could ask our insurance to take care of the payment.
In other words, despite having paid for insurance, we cannot use it because they do not provide us with any type of document.
AUTOVIA is without a doubt the worst car rental company I have dealt with in Europe.
I do not recommend it at all.

As the rental car was no longer roadworthy after one day because the breaking fluid was low and had to be towed away, we had to drive back to Autovia to pick up a new rental car. Of course we were upset, because such damage could have been avoided if the car had been properly inspected.
We were promised that we would be reimbursed for the taxi costs incurred, as the damage wasn’t our fault. Until today
unfortunately nothing has been refunded and emails are not being responded to. I am very annoyed and would definitely not recommend such a dubious company to anyone.

"I had a wonderful experience with this company. The employee was exceptionally kind and helpful. The car I received was nearly new, impeccably clean, and in excellent condition. The car's delivery went off without a hitch, and the condition was meticulously documented. I wholeheartedly recommend this company."

This company is a scam - they will rob you right after you deliver the car back
Even car conditions are very bad - we tried them in Napoli, please stay away from this company!
