Everything was fine
Everything was fine. Service, reporting, return of the car. Handling of the deposit. New car in good condition. I can fully recommend.
Waiting time at the arrival for getting the car was about 20 minutes what could be improved.

I will use Autovia again
On arrival at the airport late at night, the agent at the desk was fantastic and all went smoothly. The car was clean & the sat nav was so good I just put my own away. On return, the procedure to return the car was once again smooth. I parked up & after a check by the agent I signed the agreement & was told I was good to go.

unjustified damage claim
When I picked up my rental car, the staff first tried to sell me additional insurance. Since I already had coverage, I declined. They didn’t accompany me to inspect the car for existing damage, nor did they offer to do so. I was also informed that no one would be present when I returned the car because it would be too early, and that I should simply drop the keys in a box.
To be safe, I took photos and videos of the car at both pick-up and return.
I had no incidents during the rental period, but just a few hours after returning the car, I received an email from the rental company claiming there were new damages. The email included a simplified diagram showing where the alleged damages were. I immediately responded, stating that I disagreed with their assessment and attached my photos as evidence. They then forwarded the case to a specialized damage department.
That department later sent me an email with an actual photo taken by the company, showing the supposed damage. I again objected and sent all my photos once more. Eventually, they agreed to cancel the charge and issued an apology.
Although the issue was resolved, the experience was frustrating. It left me with the strong impression that someone may have tried to frame me. Without the photos I took, it would have been very difficult to prove my case.
