Been working for autotech for a good few years now. I mainly deal with Stuart who is an absolute credit to autotech. Hes always available when needed, answers any questions, supportive, knowledgable and the main thing for me is his honesty especially when work might be getting quiet (which cant be said about other agencys who will promise you the world to get you on board and then let you down.) However the man somehow always manages to pull something out the bag when its quiet. He even worked over a weekend trying to sort me a contract after mine got cancelled late on a friday and he had me organised to start in a new place on the monday. This will be my 4th year with autotech and ive never been without work, never had any issues with payments, my timesheet in on the monday and the money is in the bank friday. Im currently working a 4 day 40 hour week and theyre really flexable with it when needed to accomodate childcare. They made a large contribution towards my mot testers course and organised my level 3 EV training free of charge. Would recommend any tech or tester who fancied a shot of agency to work with autotech.

As an auto tech recruit you feel like part of the team not just a mechanic out there on your own. There are a very friendly and helpful bunch of people, when I have had any issues there where solved promptly, great to work for.

Having worked for other agencies in the past Autotech are head and shoulders above. Experienced and friendly staff who just know how to get it done. Shout out to Stuart covering Scotland who over the past 3 years has helped keep me local but at the same time busy during some hard times. My diaries always full and always keeps in touch (especially when I forget to send in my timesheet) 😂

I applied for an MOT position and completed all required steps, including submitting documents and three references. Sadly, no one contacted me afterward and I received no updates.

Recruiters should keep candidates informed, even if they’re no longer being considered.

I am currently working as a contractor with Autotech, and this is my fourth year with the company, so this review is long overdue. From day one, everyone at Autotech has been extremely helpful, guiding me and finding me excellent contracts at both main dealers and independent garages. This has allowed me to continue developing my skills as a mechanic and stay up to date as the industry evolves.

After my first year, I was given free Electric/Hybrid vehicle training at the training center, something I was refused at my previous job and for that I am very grateful to Autotech.

I would especially like to thank Ollie, who has supported me from the very beginning. He spent a great deal of time on the phone explaining everything when I first joined and has continued to support me over the last four years by consistently finding me excellent contracts. I have never been without work, and in my opinion, he is one of the best. It’s an absolute pleasure to work with him. Thank you, Ollie.

I’d also like to thank Jason, who is always available and ready to help. Both Jason and Ollie have also assisted in enrolling other contractors I have recommended to Autotech.

Overall, Autotech is, in my opinion, a fantastic place for any mechanic looking to work in an environment where respect, guidance, and excellent opportunities are provided.
