Absolute worst! Avoid ordering parts from this place! Crating labels to ship parts but never deliver or have fedex ship the part! They contend to have fast shipment! This is a lie! Waiting over 1 week... See more

operator. I order some parts a month ago and they won’t return a an email and my parts well $150 wasted. How do we take this business out of business?
Avoid at all cost
I Ordered about a thousand dollars worth of parts. A month later the parts have still not even shipped. They will not respond to emails and finding a phone number is borderline impossible, but they will not answer those either and took a week to respond to a VM. I got tired of waiting and just re-ordered the parts from Rock auto. They shipped out the same day. At this point I just want money back from Autonation and for us to part ways like this never happened. It’s looking like I’m going to have to go the route of disputing charges with the bank. This place is the single largest collective group of f-ups on the planet. Save yourself the pain and avoid.
They Advertise like they have the part in-stock!
Advertised part on-line like they had it in-stock to lure in business. Took 6 days to respond to my inquiry re: status of my order. On the 6th day they notified me the part was on back order and after I complained with the WTH they cancelled the order stating they had no idea when it would be available. How about don't try to sell what you don't have in your warehouse. Absolute clowns!!! Avoid them and stick with a real vendor.
They will most definitely get you into…
They will most definitely get you into a car but if you need service from said vehicle good luck! I’ve been calling for 2 days, and now my car has broken down! Still no answer nor callback, terrible
Terrible vendor
Worst vendor I’ve dealt with. Shipped incorrect item. They do not answer the phone. They do not respond to voice messages or emails. I would be glad to return the junk, but they have no instructions for returns! No choice but to ask amex to remove their charge.
Worst experience buying a car I have…
Worst experience buying a car I have ever had. I will never purchase from this company or recommend this company to anyone. I felt as if I was just another customer during the purchasing process, took much longer than it should have. Was told I was putting to much money down, then I was told I they had to finance it with another lender because I wasn't financing enough. After I purchased the 2016 Fit I found out it a major mechanical issue 3 days after purchase, I got a vehicle report from a certified Honda repair shop and AutoNation would not repair it under the 90 day, 4,000 mile warranty the car came with. I was told by the management team to return the car to them they. Not 20 minutes after I returned the car they had it back on their website for sale.
I was sold several add-ons with my car…
I was sold several add-ons with my car purchase that were misrepresented, like a tire warranty and 10-service plan package. Both had a time limit that was unrealistic. Both would have been a decent deal if they were what I was told they were. I don't like being misled. Don't be rushed, READ everything. Hayward Toyota, Ca.
Not a professional business
The product I am looking for appears in stock, but a week has passed, and it still has not been sent; the company cannot be contacted in any way; I asked for information either from the form on the website (w w w .autonationparts. com/contact-us) or via e-mail (Orders @ autonationparts.com) I could not get any answer. Waste of time; I do not recommend
Timing chain seal/gasket
There is a cover and special seal/gasket that goes over the timing chain. It is labor intensive and thus costly. The original seal/gasket lasted 16 years and 146,000 miles. The seal/gasket was replaced by Autonation and it lasted 3 years and 8,000 miles. They have a warranty for 1 year/12,000 miles. I told them they should replace the seal/gasket essentially for free but they did not because the warranty was for 1 year max. So I am out about $1500. These seal/gaskets should last 150,000 miles. After talking with a much better service advisor two days later, the entire cost of the new seal/gasket was refunded to me. In all honesty, I have to change my rating from one star to four stars
Can I give negative stars
Can I give negative stars? Both Boyd and Derrick are probably the worst customer service people I have ever met.
I have had three Nissan Frontiers and an Xterra. I loved them. But I will no longer be buying Nissan Products.
A little back history, In 2018, I took my 2013 Nissan Frontier to AutoNation Nissan Tempe due to a fuel filler tube issue. There was a service bulletin about the problem. I printed it and brought it with me. Basically, it intermittently caused fuel to spray back out of the tank as you filled it. Derrick was a service person then. He did not check the filler tube instead he bilked my extended warranty company for everything he could think of including a new gas tank. Finally, after 2 years, he had an epiphany... He found the service bulletin and fixed the issue. Like it was his idea.
Fast forward to 2023, I took my 2019 Nissan Frontier to the dealership I purchased it from due to an airbag warning light blinking. They were not a Nissan Dealership, but they did the diagnostic and confirmed it needed a new airbag sensor. But they couldn't do it since it had to be done at a Nissan dealership. They sent me to Auto Nation Nissan Tempe to have it fixed.
I arrived at my scheduled service time only to be told that the person I was scheduled to meet for the repair was at lunch. So I got the "super-friendly" Boyd instead. In case you didn't hear my sarcasm, Boyd is the most unfriendly person I have met and was rude to me immediately. I told him I have had bad experiences at this location previously and he must have taken that as a challenge to make this experience even worse. He also informed me it would need another diagnostic since they could use the one from the original dealership. So I waited for 2 hours to complete it only to tell me what I already knew—the airbag sensor needed to be replaced. He said he would order it and text me when it was in. This was on a Wednesday. On Friday I received the text that the parts would be in on the following Tuesday. I called Monday and made an appointment for Wednesday. When I arrived Wednesday, Boyd rudely told me the part wasn't in. I took off work for this and my girlfriend rearranged her schedule to pick me up while they serviced it. I was not happy and another person, Rustin, said he would take over helping me. I asked to speak to the manager and low and behold, guess who the manager is... Derrick!! The same guy that gave me the 2 years run around on my previous Frontier.
He said to make this right he would waive my extended warranty deductible and get the part asap. After 3 weeks I still hadn't received a text or call about installing the parts. I contacted Nissan Corporate and filed a complaint. After about a week of phone tag, I finally received a phone call saying they cannot do anything about Derrick and Boyd's behavior since they are an independent dealership. I was also informed that I am not welcome there.
I know I am just one person, but companies should not treat people this way. Losing one person as a customer doesn't amount to anything to them so what do they care? But you as a consumer should do yourself a favor and avoid the service department at AutoNation Nissan Tempe.
These guys are total crooks
These guys are total crooks. From the beginning, the transaction that I made with AutoNation USA was abnormal. My normal vehicle broke down in Albuquerque so I purchased a Hyundai Tucson from AutoNation USA using my credit card, thinking I would sell the car when my car was repaired.
Normally, the dealership issues a temporary plate and sends you the title in a week. AutoNation USA Albuquerque told me that they would handle the titling in my home state of New York and send me new plates and the title for New York. They charged me a $399 titling fee and $1,222.00 in estimated New York taxes. They said that they would email the paperwork to me but I asked them to give me a receipt for the purchase so that I could prove that the car belonged to me until the title came. They gave me a printout with said taxes, titling fee etc. included.
Over the next 4 months, I called asking what could have happened to the title since it never arrived in the mail. I called dozens of times and was always given excuses, which I now know were completely fabricated, about how New York had sent back my paperwork, they had hired a new titling lady, they were looking for my title, on and on and on until I finally contacted the Attorney General’s office. The wonderful people at the AG’s office finally got the general manager, Timothy Leon, to hire a titling company, “High Desert Title” to send me a title. Cara at High Desert Title said that she contacted corporate and that they had agreed to return the titling fee but that the taxes that they had put on my receipt were “only an estimate” and that they would not be returned, even though they had not used the $1,222.00 to title my vehicle in New York. They did, however, spend $899 to title the vehicle in New Mexico but New York does not accept transfer taxes from New Mexico so I will still have to pay $1086.00 in taxes in New York to drive my vehicle. This fee of $899 never should have happened, since they knew I was going to have to title the vehicle in another state. The money was spent improperly.
I have not received any repayment for the title fee or the New York taxes from AutoNation USA and Timothy Leon refuses to return my phone calls. They charged these fees without reason. I can not drive the car, as the title has still not arrived and they refuse to issue me a new temporary plate. I have now missed work and am completely immobilized and still have no title and I have received no refund.
Process took FOREVER
Matched highest quote, but the process took from 1:30 until 4:30 to finally get paid!
Will NEVER buy from Autonation
Will NEVER buy a car from any Autonation. On July 2, 2023 we found a car on their site we were interested in buying. The car was listed as being in Audi of Westmont Illinois. We are in Miami, Florida and would buy the car and have it shipped. Online we inquired about the car with a Chat Agent. They said somebody would call us the next day. Nobody called. When we then called the dealer the next day, they helped us, and provided a deal sheet. We agreed to the price including the transfer fee. We also mentioned we would pay for the car outright ($11K car). After that, 5 hours pass with no more calls. We call in again and they start playing games. We heard every excuse from "the car is not here" to "the car is in service for prep". This is despite the salesman sending me more photos of the car on the lot. When we offered to pay a deposit and then fly out to buy it, they said they could not do it. In short, they did not want to sell the car online. Why list a car and offer to ship if you are going to play games? In the end, we got no reason, simply told that they would not sell me the car regardless of what we offered to do. The car was a specific car we wanted (Manual Transmission Audi TT). In the end we went to another online car dealer (well known) and paid $20K for another car with less mileage. Autonation's loss. My recommendation to them, if you are going to offer and market something, honor what you put out there. Do not play games. You never know who you will lose as a client. We have purchased 7 cars in the last 6 years. There are many Autonation dealerships in Miami. I will NEVER deal with any.
I won't change my rate for autonation…
I won't change my rate for autonation company they still get 0 stars I don't know how those people sleep at night knowing they could burn people. Like my self I don't have a whole lot of money I was just trying to buy a decent car with no problem but it a Matter of time it will break down soon and I only made 3 payments and it runs like s*it
DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH AUTONATION ANYWHERE
I HAVE A WRITTEN CONTRACT WITH AUTONATION HENDERSON IN NEVADA. THE COMPANY AGREED TO PAY $26,412.00 FOR MY 2020 TOYOTA RAV 4. AFTER 3 WEEKS THEY SEND ME AN EMAIL TELLING ME THEY'RE ONLY PAYING $25,000 FOR MY TRADE AND THE REMAINDER OF $1412 I WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR REGARDLESS OF WHAT THEY PUT IN WRITING ON A CONTRACT. I'M GOING TO SEE AN ATTORNEY FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT. I'M A 100% DISABLED COMBAT VETERAN AND THESE PEOPLE WERE BLOWING SMOKE UP MY ASS ABOUT HOW THEY RESPECT VETERANS, JUST NOT THE CONTRACTS THEY WRITE FOR VETERANS. THE PEOPLE I TALKED TO ARE DAVID GARCIA JR. AND A GUY WHO GOES BY THE INITIALS DC. THE PERSON WHO WROTE ME WITH THE DEMAND FOR $1412 WAS MATT CAVANESS, SALES MANAGER.
Beware of buying here
Beware of buying here.No issues with the sales department but the overall experience with AutoNation has been stressful to say the least. My son 19yrs old saved his money to buy his first truck 5500 dollars down and they provided us with all kinds of paperwork saying this truck was Certified Pre Owned and inspected.Drive the truck home 2hrs away get close to the house and start hearing engine noise hasn't had the truck 2 weeks and drove it home then to the mechanic shop.Took to a local Ford dealership and mechanic says there is no way this truck was inspected and Certified it has a major OIL LEAK,Needs Alignment & Turbo that couldn't have been missed. Now he paid extra for full warranty that doesn't kick in till the 90 day mark and AutoNation is beating around the bush about fixing the truck they sold under false inspections almost 3,000 worth or work. They hang up when we call put us on hold the manager basically laughed at my wife and hung up on her no regret for what they done to a 19 yr old kid trying to get his life started. So if you buy here inspect your vehicle good or you certainly will be out of pocket money to fix it cause they will refuse to help you and will string you along.Truck still sets at dealer with oil leak because it cant be drove back to the lot.
The worst place to buy a car
The worst place to buy a car I was interested in a car they were selling after the price dropped they moved it to one of their dealers in the next town and raised the price by over $1500 very shady. Never Trust them for a fair price!
$500 oil change?
In dealing with the service department. I called in advance and made an appointment - the EGR code they previously diagnosed but could not get parts for -I was bringing it back for that service since the oil was now due as well. I detailed what was needed. I left my key in the dropbox with a list of what was needed on the car. I emailed a reply to their email about my service appointment. When I received a text from my service department contact, I gave him the same list of things that were needed And none of them were done. Aside from the oil change and air filter so I again repeated what I brought it in for. They charged almost $200 for hooking it up to their computer to tell me what was wrong was what I told them was wrong, I had also told them again that the infotainment system needed an update so they charged me another $200 to hook it up to the computer for that too. I ended up spending about $500 on an oil change and air filter because they’re quote for the EGR valve was $2400. And a two week wait and I had to pay in advance. Ignored other items on my request entirely as well. At this point I said no to that and went into pick up my car, I was sticker shocked with $520 when all was accomplished was an oil change and air filter and a software update. The service representative I dealt with was rather curt unapologetic and told me I was the one who refused service and they couldn’t service it without diagnostics (like the EGR valve was going to improve?) He had a lot of in-house awards all around his workstation, so they appreciate and reward his disorganized, crap communication and curt demeanor. So, if you go to AutoNation Chevrolet expect to have a similar experience, they will quote you $1500 in labor to replace a $400 part $200 twice to hook it up to their computer to tell you that it’s still bad just like last time when they didn’t have one available to order. Highly recommend you find anywhere else for service, I have a deposit for a new Silverado EV that I will be canceling as a result of my experience with the service department. Based on this and the last time I went there for service - I don’t understand how they have a star rating this high, seems highly overrated.
Charleston auto nation was great
Charleston auto nation was great. Thanks to Andre and Trisha my experience was informed and easy.
Absolutely awful
Absolutely awful. Avoid at all costs! Any other ford dealer is better. Kim in finance is a moron until she finds out who you are and what you make. If these absolutely useless amateurs hadn't kept us waiting for 4 hours we would have walked. Amateur Kim blurted out my wife's monthly income to the entire dealership. Amateur Kim wanted to be my friend when she found out it wasn't a typo. Amateur Kim can't do math. Amateur Kim thinks she is smart. If you like your credit score and ask Amateur Kim not to pull your credit more than once, you went to the wrong place. Amateur Kim will pull it until you scream. She will even belittle you and tell you she made her millions, but then drop in her 27 years of experience, she will then belittle you some more and try any explain rudimentary loan practices to you. It was humorous.
To recap: they treat you like an idiot, they lie, they treat you like an idiot and then they lie some more.
