Avoid as zero quality control
Agreed to pay full price on a Golf GTi in mid August and paid my £1k deposit. The car was a dying gift to myself as I have terminal cancer and wanted to enjoy it in my last weeks and months. Due to the cancer it's hard for me to travel so it was agreed dealer would deliver to my home and I'd pay on satisfactory inspection. Delivery was delayed until 10 September as I'd agreed with dealer to do some paid work to the car. On the 1st delivery the car had to be rejected as the rear windscreen wiper had been fitted incorrectly and so when operated took the fresh paintwork off the car. The dealer then attempted to redeliver the car on 25th September but this time with no rear lights or brake lights working, so not roadworthy!. Rather than offer to take the car back and put right the defects they decided to take it back, refund my deposit and attempt re-sell the car, a car I'd earmarked to give me pleasure in my final weeks and months. I'd advise extreme caution when dealing with Autologix and insist upon your own QC inspections as they obviously don't do any before handing over cars.
