Purchased a car from Allan as a foreigner living in Danmark around 3 months ago. Received a pretty warm welcome. The purchase experience was solid, got to get the car reserved and test drove it twice. No mechanical errors were found at the start, yet received only 1 key instead of 2 at time of purchase. After 2 weeks, got a second key made by a third party, paid off by Allan, so a little time spent going back and forth, yet everything got fulfilled. The timing belt hasn't been changed as advertised, however Allan made an effort to change it before the purchase, after bringing it to his attention - and I've verified that it's indeed been changed. Tyres provided (both summer and winter) were of different brands (making it a safety hazard unless going to the shop nearby) and barely legal in terms of what's left of them, so that's a cost added up to the car itself.
Right after driving off, on the highway, received a faulty tyre pressure sensor error - the car is bought used after all, and until it gets worse and becomes a safety hazard, it's drivable.
Besides such caveats, the experience was pretty solid - quick, easy and friendly. Most importantly, no major mechanical issues have popped out, such as the engine, which is a big plus for an 8-year old car with high mileage. Overall, a transparent, honorable and pretty fair experience you can expect when buying a used old car from Allan, without major issues encountered, if checked carefully by the client before purchase.
